I've requested some videos on his Youtube page before; this is the best video (re. obscure) that he has put up of those:

Lawrie Colliver has put up some classic South Australian stuff on there recently, too

Lads just taking the p155 cause they didn't rate Zimbabwe. You'll note Healy is standing at 'first slip' with all the gear on still.

If Healey took a catch at 1st slip - would it be out?

Good question.

I'm saying no.

Interesting one. Under the laws i believe the only thing they state in relation to the keepers position is that he must remain behind the stumps until such time as the batsman has hit the ball, been struck by the ball, or the ball has passed the stumps.

There is also reference to the keeper forfeiting his rights to use his equipment if the umpire believes based on his positioning, he can not execute his role as a wicket keeper. (IE: he can't stand at fine leg with the gloves on).
At first slip, it would be close. I'd say no, he can't execute his role as a wicket keeper there, but then again, Harmison bowled one directly to second slip before, so standing at first slip isn't miles off! haha
They Aussies may have argued that Healy was still keeping, and warne was a leg slip, and that they had their angles slightly wrong.

For mine, not out, but would be an interesting debate which all comes down to the umpires interpretation!

Right now on 507 they’re showing the highlights of the 2002 tour to South Africa.

If you want to watch our side treat Pollock, Donald, Kallis, Butcher, Kristin, Ntini etc like park cricketers this was the series.

Arguably the time of our era when we more most dominant.

Gilly and Martyn about to go beserk.

Who remembers hooksey running out dean Jones from a short 2nd slip.
I think zesers bowled it beautifully into hookseys hands and he threw the stumps down.
Brilliant piece of cricket!
Love to see that again.

Agreed, would love to see that. I know Deano wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but I liked him. Bit sad that he has handed back his life membership to the VCA. Obviously has no time for the hierarchy over there.

I never tire of watching the Gatting ball. The look on his face as he starts to take his gloves off says it all.
