Almost lost it, thanks to Mr. Lees' near-beamer and wide, but a magnificent throw by Clarke and a fine last over from debutant Lewis, turned the game our way.

Im assuming that pitch is pretty flat. So if that is the case then it is a good debut from Lewis.

Hey Dog-er, I really like reading what you say, but gotta be honest about this. Your scoreline is very British. Australia had them 9 for 320. Not the other way around mate.

Picky I know, but its like using the American date. Its arse about!

Lee bowling a "near beamer". No, I dont believe you! (LOL) In five years time he'll still be trotting out the old "I've only ever bowled four in my internation career" line. Must have been a real chocolates to boiled lollies effort from him today. Despite that, I do actually rate him more highly than I did before the Ashes.
Must have been a gallant effort from the Kiwi's who would have done well to overcome the mental scars of Saturday's performance.
Great partnership by Clarke and Symonds, who continues to play well in one day cricket. He must be putting undue pressure on himself in the test arena as he is better than what he is showing.
Chris Cairns is still a fine International one day player.

That was called as a no-ball, it was almost chest high, came off the bat and went for 4. That was 5 runs. Next ball he bowls a far too high bouncer - a wide.

Has nothing to do with Foxtel. You should be saying "Why don't Channel 9 take up their option to show it?"

If you havent brought the TV rights for it, then you dont have the option. Anyway Channel Eddie i mean 9 are busy trying to keep the football. No time for the cricket at the moment.

I like the cricket on foxtel. No half-an-hour cut-off for the all-important six o'clock news.
