Libby qualified 9th after the 2 heats and missed the FINAL (fastest in the world for this event) however a disqualifaction to the chinese swimmer, the winner of heat 2 for jumping early puts Libby through to the final.

Sheesh, that's a close call for her. She's the favourite for the event too. What went wrong I wonder, maybe she was saving herself for the final and took it a little too easily? Or did she hit the piss a bit hard after winning her first gold for these games? Hmmm.

That womens' 4 x 200m relay is my highlight of the Olympics so far. Incredible effort from the 6th best qualifier to win gold.

In the Pool it had to be the Phelps show wining 8 gold medal. Beating Mark Spitz record of 7 gold in one olympics. I think Australia won 20 medals in the pool. 10km comming up in the next couple of days
