Bad news.

Liustened to Andrew Bogut being quizzed about Liz Cambage. She has now come out suppoprting the Nigerian team. Yep.

Bogut couldn't say what he knows:

Joel Caine asked Bogut on 1170 SEN Drive: “From what you’re hearing without saying exactly what you heard or what’s doing the grapevine – is it a racial thing? Is it a derogatory thing?

Bogut replied: “All of the above. From what I’ve heard it’s all of the above.

“It’s not good. It’s not words that you want to utter and that’s why they can’t be repeated on radio.

“It’s just not good. There are words that are sometimes said in the heat of battle – and they are definitely not on that list.

She called a Nigerian player an ape and told her to **** off back to her third world shitpot country.

Her father is Nigerian. She surely has a hard road ahead of her. The Aussie girls are on record. They never want to see her again play for Australia.

If that is what she's said then nobody can take anything she says in future on race/equality seriously.

If we as a society allow this to occur under the guise of mental illness, then it's an out clause for everyone deemed to be a racist thereafter.

That's the aussie who is injured (taken out by Willoughby's Yanky Misses).

Got carried off on a stretcher and they broadcaster wouldn't replay the fall as it is too graphic apparently.

We have another Gold, this time in the sailing but can’t officially be announced.
Matt Weare has finished the races of the Laser class with a unbeatable points lead heading into the final race so he pretty much just gets to have a big lap of honor in the last race

Very interesting listening to Thorpe’s recall of the women’s 100 swim. He explains it very well. Get him coaching!
