Arnold has released the squad which is

Overage: David Carney (Sheffield United), Jade North (Newcastle Jets) and Archie Thompson (Melbourne Victory).

Under 23's: Mark Bridge (Sydney FC), Billy Celeski (Victory), Adam Federici (Reading), Neil Kilkenny (Leeds United), Adrian Leijer (Fulham), Trent McClenahan (Hereford United), Mark Milligan (no club), Stuart Musialik (Sydney), Nikita Rukavytsya (Perth Glory), Kristian Sarkies (Adelaide United), Matthew Spiranovic (Nurnberg), Nikolai Topor-Stanley (Perth Glory), James Troisi (no club), Tando Velaphi (Perth Glory), Ruben Zadkovich (Derby County).

Notice anybody missing ? Yep no Burns or Djite. The **** stick in Arnold has stated he thought they were too young ! Hello, idiot, Hello !
It's an underage tournament you dickbrain ! What a crock of crap !! So both Burns & Djite will miss out on the Olympics, and then be too old for the next one.

Also if Djite is too young for the Olyroos, why the **** did he play in all the qualifiers when fit, and also hasn't he just represented the Socceroos !

Arnold it's time to go. **** off out of here please. Hopefully Baan stops the envelope and gets those two names on the list...

Burnsy & Brucey, feel for ya boys...

Man I'm pissed...

I would've thought they'd both be shoe ins having played in the qualifiers.

I agree. Arnold is a ******* joke and I look forward to the day he leaves.

How that hack Sarkies gets a gig yet Bruce and Burns don't is beyond me... the golden child of Australian football who never, ever delivers. He is one of the most overrated players going around.

Bruce scored twice on debut for his Genclerbirligi and also provided an assist in a trial match against Denizlispor. They finished 7th in the Super League last season apparently so they are no hack side.

Nope, the reasons given by peanut were the age and experience of the duo. If I could find the original
quote re Peanut saying why he left them out I'd post it.

I'm sure Bruce & Nathan would've discussed the Olympics with their respective clubs when signing....

FFS even Ronaldinho, who's just signed with AC Milan, can ******* play at the Olympics....
