oh bless...poor Iraq just came last in their heat in the Mens double skulls. After all their troubles it would have been nice to see them make a semi even if they never had a chance of a metallic reward.

What a shit of a day but today made up for it! Great day out at the rowing course sunny and 2 great Aussie gold medals in the men’s paid Drew Ginn and Duncan Free and then another in the men’s double sculls fantastic day to have been out there sang then anthem loud and proud. Almost pulled off a third gold in the men’s fours but the poms just got over the line.
