Nothing to do with United blinkers as I think Welbeck is a hack aswell. 3 of those Liverpool players are great players but Henderson is a joke and got monstered all game, Johnson is also a terrible defender.
Was a good game overall but Italy were always in control, once that second goal went in they were never to going to lose

28 Goals in 8 matches - what a start to the Tournament!!!
As far as 'spuds' go - Rooney is the biggest spud in the Finals.
So funny to see Gerrard tell him to feck off out the way when that free kick with 10 mins to go was given.
Shrek was standing over the ball, expecting to take it & Stevie G walks in, tells him to get out the way & he 'slinks' off, nowhere near the play - Hillarious

Poms going to find it hard to qualify now - needed at least a point from that game.
Can't see Uruguay playing as bad as they did in 2nd half today.
Stephen Trigg & Rob Chapman are SA Football Patriots

Rooney was poor today no doubt.
He did lay on a good cross for Sturridge to score but that is about it. Rooney is getting a game on reputation only not form currently.
Probably says a fair bit about England, wouldnt think more than 4 or 5 of them would get a game in any of the genuine top sides in World football. Gerrard copped an absolute mauling from Pirlo aswell, was quite embarassing at times.
The sooner England realise they are not a world power and accept that there has to be changes the better off they will be.

France 1-0 at the break.
Hondurus concede a penalty right on the break, down to 10 men now

France 3-0 up currently

Lol at the goal line tech that was used for their second

Shot hit the post , rebounded out , and hit the keeper then went in . The goal line tech was used , everyone saw the rebound did not go in , the Honduras fans celebrated that it wasnot a goal there , then saw it did go in off the keeper . Honduras manager and players complaining that it was not a goal

I'd say Messi takes that title.

As for the group, can someone please explain why our group has the 7th 9th and 10th ranked countries in the world whilst the Argies have the 21st 44th and 45th. Especially as they are supposed to be seeded. A Brazil v Argie final in Brazil wouldn't have anything to do with at all?
I'm not suggesting any corruption in FIFA

I honestly thought Italy just did all they had to, they sat back and waited to hit them. Even after England levelled and had a good period Italy didnt panic. After they got the second they once again maintained good control apart from a couple of brain snaps. I always felt that even if England equalised, Italy could lift and score again. Pirlo put on an absolute masterclass. England were brave and yes they are inexperienced so will be better for the hitout.
Ive got Italy to make atleast the semis and I actually tipped them to win 3-1 so England did better than I thought

And speaking of the biggest spuds there.
Pick any in a Spanish shirt. They're only the current holders and ranked number 1 in the world
I think Rooney has a long way to go yet. Not saying that won't achieve it though :D

Therein lies the issue, I am realist and know that Australia wont be a world power probably ever, well atleast in my lifetime. English people believe it is their right to be a soccer powerhouse. Serious question, do you think the ammount of imports in the EPL has effected Englands performance over the years or is just natural evolution that others have leapfrogged them. I would love to see them win a WC again just not when ive got decent coin on it lol
