This doesn't bode well for my Gunners who seem to love finishing 4th

Can't see it happening this year, Serie A sides are also struggling and don't think Italy will quite get their coefficient up this year, it is a possibility though

Arsenal and Chelsea look through

Good show by the Gunners. With Chelsea also getting through it adds more points to the EPL continuing to have a 4th spot in the CL.

It would REALLY NICE [-o< if the Gunners can get passed the first round of the knock out stage this time

Really good showing by Arsenal this morning, score flattered the Greeks.
With 2 English sides finishing top it makes their task harder to get by the next round.
Will get Real Madrid, Wolfsburg, Atletico, Barca or Zenit in the knockout and would think Arsenal would only be favourites against Zenit or maybe Wolfsburg. Draw has opened up very nicely for the Chavs and Shiteh now

Good to see 3 EPL teams get through, I assume that'll help the effort of keeping 4 spots.

Would prefer to face Real these days.

Arsenal v Barcelona ](*,)

It will take the biggest of all major upsets if Arsenal win this.

So we have the home leg v Barca . Whilst a win would be amazing for the Gunners, if we do lose we need to keep it respectable. Like a 0-1 home loss isn't too bad and provides some hope [-o< that we can knock them off on the return leg.

What sort of team will they trot out?

Is the league more important given the chances of winning the CL look pretty small?

I think u have no choice but to trott out your best available when u play Barca

Wouldnt be risking resting players and copping embarrasing five nil hidings in both legs which will do a lot of damage to the clubs image, perspective transfer targets and major club sponsors etc etc

Put your best team on the park. CL is far more important than the league. Remember the CL is the holy grail for Arsenal.Reckon Arsenal will need 2 at home because think they will hit you for 3 at the Camp Nou. I think the overall aggregate will be much more close than people think and if everything fires for Arsenal in the first leg an upset could happen.

We don't have the squad to win the CL. if we want any chance of beating these pricks we need to go to the Camp Nou with at least 2-3 goal lead.
I personally want to see us win the EPL we can try and build a better squad for next seasons CL.

This is as good of a chance as any to win the CL, you could get Barca on a bad day. League form usually counts for little in the CL as Chelsea and others have proven. No guarantee if you win the league you will have a better chance next year as you have shown in the past. I'd be going whole hog in the first leg and see what happens, if you are 2 or 3 down after that then rest players for the second leg. You only have a bye in the league this week[emoji1]

If you work in the city head to the casino. DO you have Facebook? there's an Arsenal Adelaide page where they set up events and that.
