Shocking penalties by Young and Cole.

How good was Pirlo's though? The guy has balls of steel.

Best team won, Italy were far superior. England deserved to go out, they sat back for the majority of the game and offered very little in attack. Italy kept attacking even in ET, even though they couldnt score im glad they were eventually rewarded. I give them a real chance of pushing Ze Germans

36 (20) shots to 9 (4) deserves to go through. Possession was 64 to 36. Would of been robbery if England went through!

A Young can easily dive for a penalty, but can never convert one

Spain vs Portugal 0-0 end of 90 mins
Portugal have been the better team slightly, Ronaldo had a very good chance to win it right at the death

Good game, plenty of feeling between the 2 sides, 8 yellows already. Reckon we may see a send off in ET

Yes he was the 5th taker, rumours are that he wanted to net the winner.
For me the best penalty kick takes the first one, put the pressure on the opposition

That would get some fireworks started. He has been well behaved so far, see what happens this morning.
Italy have a magnificent record against the Germans, never lost to them in a major tournament
Their record in seven head-to-head meetings in major tournaments is D4, W3.
We can only hope we get a game like the 2006 semi
