Scottish Football 2012/13

Newly promoted Ross County came so close to producing one of the biggest upsets. Celtic scored a 90th minute equaliser as the match ended 1-1.
Aberdeen get their first win of the season with a 2-1 victory over St Johnstone

What's everybody's view of the state of Scottish soccer, long and short term, in light
of the Rangers debacle/fiasco?
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

The likes of Peterhead and East Stirling and the rest of league 3 would be loving the boost in attendances.

Not so much in the Premier League where the loss of revenue and TV has tightened up the budgets of teams such as Motherwell.Even Celtic have said the SPL needs Rangers.

Berwick had a golden chance to grab a winner very late on. Maybe the thought of beating Rangers got them all giddy and they panicked and messed up the chance.

doesnt help when most of their stars have moved on from last season. They will be at least 5 years before they are knocking on the door for the SPL if at all

Rangers absence means there will be the prized 2nd SPL spot up for grabs behind Celtic.

Would love to see Motherwell get it but realistically I think it will be Hearts.

Dons draw again, this time 1-1 away to Caley. Thats now 4 draws from our first 6 games and only 2 points from top.
Shaping up as an exciting season as evidenced by St Johnston beating Celtic today, real chance that the title will finally be won by soneone other than the old scum teams
