Just saw the United goals, not sure what the keeper was doing for RVP's goal, in no mans land but a great finish. Chicarito tried walking the ball into the net, he had already beaten the keeper and took another half a dozen touches. Lucky goal but United are through to the next round after their failure last season.

United were always going to get up, as they usually do .. They have been the masters of taking victory late in games for 20 or so years, best quality of a champion team imho.

These days they don't often fire up until they go a goal down, despite having 60% possession they only had 2 shots on goal compared to Braga's 11 or so until Braga scored their goal.

Now the little Mexican makes it 3-1. Great comeback. The game was delayed due to the lights going out apparently!

Messi pulls a goal back for Barca from the spot but it's too late. Celtic win 2-1. A famous result, they will be celebrating long and hard in Glasgow.

Chelsea scored a late winner via Moses from a corner after Shakhtar went very close to winning it just a minute earlier.

Some massive first halves earlier too, Juve were 3-0 as were Valencia, but Bayern were 5-0 vs Lille, ended up 6-1.

Bayern were 5-0 up after 30 minutes, could have been more. Lille were a rabble.
Juve should have also won by more, were playing an absolute minnow and had their chances.
Great comeback by United and good to be through so early, we can concentrate on the league for a few months now and hopefully Fergie sends the kids to Turkey to play the dead rubber

I read this elsewhere:

Celtic passed the ball 83 times today.

Barcelona made 1093 passes.

Then I checked the stats and Celtic had just 16% possession. I have never seen anything like that before, if you saw that without knowing the score you would have assumed Barca won comfortably.

Happen last season in the semi final against barca
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Chavski hammered 3-0 by Juve, must win last game to go through and could still miss if results dont go their way.
Piles more pressure on RDM especially with Abromovich interested in Guardiola

And it wont get any easier next year.
The only way they can get an easier group is to actually get out of the first round, they will be seeded very low until then.
2 straight years they have flopped, the side out on the pitch would be worth more than Ajax and Dortmund combined.

Celtic hit the lead with 5 minutes remaining, should be enough to go through.
United still trail 1-0

Chavs win 6-1 but fail to progress.
First time ever a defending champion has been bundled out in the first round.
Celtic go through

United finish with 2 losses in a row but had top spot sewn up weeks ago.
Rested alot of players to save them for the Derby
