SFL FIXTURE - 2012

Postby leftpeg » Wed Dec 14, 2011 2:12 am

Alright guys time to get some discussion going...

Here's a summary of the proposed program for the 2012 season.
This version is dated 21st of november so not sure if any changes have been made.
Basically I've listed the teams that a team will play twice and which rounds they have a bye:
(all teams have a bye in Rnd 1 except for Cbfc, Hack, Mar, Osb)

Ald: Cove, Cbfc, Port, Mar (Rnd 13)

Bdos: Noar, Fhfc, MVale, Reyn (Rnd 16)

Cbfc: Ald, Mar, Hack, Cove (Rnd 8 & 17)

Cove: Ald, Cbfc, Port, Noar (Rnd 11)

Town: Hack, Hvfc, MVille, Osb (Rnd 5)

Fhfc: Bdos, MVale, MVille, Hvfc (Rnd 15)

Hack: Cbfc, Osb, Mar, Town (Rnd 9 & 19)

Hvfc: Fhfc, Town, MVille, MVale (Rnd 10)

Mar: Ald, Cbfc, Osb, Hack (Rnd 2 & 20)

MVale: Hvfc, Fhfc, Bdos, Reyn (Rnd 6)

MVille: Town, Fhfc, Hvfc, Osb (Rnd 12)

Noar: Bdos, Cove, Port, Reyn (Rnd 3)

Osb: Town, Mar, Hack, Mville (Rnd 4 & 18)

Port: Cove, Ald, Noar, Reyn (Rnd 14)

Reyn: MVale, Noar, Bdos, Port (Rnd 7)

So what are everyones thoughts, any team get a tougher or easier draw then expected? Are people happy with the current SFL system of making the top teams have harder draws or should it be random selection? Anyone keen to make some early Top 8 predictions

Another wasted year without two divs
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

I just had a look on the Sporting Pulse web site and saw the 2012 fixture was on there. There were a few inconsistencies that i noticed and i only looked at Christies match-ups.
One was that in round 7 we are playing Brighton and have a bye (there is no Reynella but assume they are on a bye week...)
In round 8 OSB are playing us and Morphettville Park. the assumption being we have the bye this round.
Just minor typos. oops
Bring on 2012!!!
