Anyway not much talk on here considering there are 2 games for premiership points this weekend wit the catch up round. Think its Brighton v Marion and Valley vs Morphy Park? Does anyone know the grounds days and times for theses games? (if correct teams?)
Its all a goer from this weekend, should be a ripper season, with hopefully a lot more competitive games and more upsets accross the whole comp.

You've got the right teams. The Valley game is at Taylors Road Saturday Night. Marion is the home team v. Brighton on Sunday --- at Glenelg.

I believe Morphy Park rejected HVFC's request for a night game as far as i know the game will be held at normal time 230PM

M/Parks at it again??? AND NO KIDS :ymapplause:
How do they sit with the points system?? How many of their OWN?????[/quote]

What are you trying to say Shoe? Everyone knows we are struggling to get junior grades, not through the lack of trying. So if we havn't got juniors coming through to fill those senior spots we have to go out and get senior player. Dosn't every club go out recruiting players? And yes we will still have a few points to play with. You guys would be happy the points system is in, you no longer have to worry about the salary cap, sorry i forgot you never did worry about it. :^o

That'd be right !! Up to par with the way the League keeps me informed of developments
I assume the other game is still at the Bay on Sunday or have they changed that too ?

Why is the SFL scheduling games during cricket seasons?

Cricket always finish in mid to late March; Football on the other hand, always starts in April. Hell, SFL is starting the same week as the AFL; that has never happened.

Cause they let Townies in, bringing in the bye, so now a catch up round has to be played.
Morphy's will be missing around 6 players this weekend as they have there A & B Grade cricket sides playing in the GF.

Wouldn't it have then been easier to have a night game or even a Sunday game as well to avoid the clash?

either way thats a massive day all day playing cricket gf finish about 6 go straight to footy play then line up the next morning sore for the final days play. they should have requested to not play the catch up round and got a team who arent cricket dependant or put a top club against a lower club to not matter if a few players are out

Was at Yank but was actually against Mt Barker. Some pretty good signs from the game and we won pretty convincingly.
