was at the parks v shoe game yesterday.one of the worst umpiring displays in 15 years of watching sfl games if that is the standard to be set by the umpires every club is in trouble...consistantly inconsistant..woeful.good game very even contest.shoes played a exciting fast running game and will be better suited on a deck that is not shaped like a pasty.........the parks very tall side and stretched the shoes with there height bomb long and wait 4 a catch up forward they played to ther strengths...the umpires overshadowed the quality of the contest...absolute sh$@t they were..

The Shoes have a history of niggly little tactics, guess the umpires are aware of this and the free kick count showed

In my opinion flaggies are still a long way from mixing it with the top 4-6. they kept up in the first quarter, cleverly dropping players back in the holes, but that was it. It seems another finish 8th or 9th or 10th is on the cards.....

Will be fine mate, the week off came at a good time. Haven't heard yet about Robo's knee yet, but doesn't look good.
Yeah Milo can just about play anywhere I would say. Still gets pulled into the goals he just can't help himself, even stealing goals from blokes in the goal square! ;)

Christies about eight goals up at the last change. Lions came home with a wet sail, but the deficit was too big.

I thought the umpiring was reasonably good. A couple of very quick holding the ball decisions and a couple of calls where both sides didn't know who's free kick it was, but the umpires communicated very well and didn't stand out, which to me is important to an umpires role.
Was quite funny to hear one of the umpires refer to me as Panther!

Thought i'd go and see what i believed to be match of the round so went to MV to watch them against the Valley as an impartial spectator. Let me just say that i left very disappointed. Porter has brought a very negative/poor game plan to the SFL, i would expect all good sides to see much of the same from them. He placed all numbers behind the footy (AFL style) and at times Valley had only 1 player forward of the centre circle, which as you could all imagine on Morphett Vale oval didn't look pretty. MV controlled the game comfortably and wayward kicking along with trying to counter 14-16 Valley players inside MV'S forward 50 made it difficult to score. Will not be going to watch any more Happy Valley games this year. Easter break then looking forward to a double, Cove/Brighton and MV/Reynella on the Sunday, looking forward to seeing a couple 1 on 1 style hard hitting skillful games of footy. Happy Valley will not be a top 4 side this year..!!

Well known Shoe Boy if you have no idea of the truth then make it up. Police presence what a lot of crap. Get on to being positive about something instaed of trying to kick other clubs. The history of things that have happened at the shoe is very questionable. You have been around long enoughto know better.

Two reserves player had a go at each other after the siren unfortunately on the oval in full view wsnt good lasted 30 seconds all over. You said large police presence I think one car drove in about 1 hour after this having a look which happens at most games. This occurence unfortunately has or will happen at most grounds or clubs throughout a season

Would imagine a few teams might come close to the mark, wouldnt have thought any teams would need to leave players out as they over allocated points???

Lions only used 22 points all 1 point players bar one 2 point player. Marion, Morphy Park,Shoes and Christies would have used a few points i would of thought but i doubt anyone would have been a position where they had to leave anyone out surely?
