J.Sampson didn't play at south, sorry the PANTHERS on the weekend and will play for Morphies this week i am told. Combination of things and working with the heart and sole of Morphies (Bailey Boys). Be interesting to see if he does front up this week, as would have been a 'required' player at the Panthers so wonder if they will allow him to play if he is contracted.

While on Morphies, any word on C.Smith at the bays? Haven't seen his name in the 2's etc yet, is he likely to stay there?

Rumour passing around the traps that Glenunga FC met with the SFL big wigs a week ago about a possible entry into the comp in 2010, does anyone know if there is anything to this?

Glenunga? first i've heard of it, not exactly located in the Southern area.
We would need to find a lot of new, quality players to even be competitive with the bottom couple of sides in the SFL. Mind boggles as to why they would request this. Interesting.

Emus are as surprised as anyone to still have Smithers playing with them. Had virtually written him off for the season as they thought he would be a certainty for 2's at least.

I find it hard to think that Farrier could play League footy! Then Smith the second best defender in the SFL cant even make the 2s.
Used to love standing farrier as an old forward new i could have a big day! Not with smith! Crazy!

Without knowing Farrier that is the difference between West and Glenelg.

Smithy should definitely be making the 2s side tho no doubt! Very tough and uncompromising player and im very surprised he still kickin round at Morphies!

Cyclops its got nothin to do with $$.

I say it coz i think he should be playing at Glenelg and the fact hes at Morphies surprises me as i wouldve thought he would make the 2s at least.

After the long history between our 2 clubs over the past 6-7 years i know what sort of stuff the Morphies boys are made of and having played a reasonable amount of footy with Craig over our time i know where his heart sits. Not everyones out to get you or your club clopsy!!
