When they are both fit. Scott Beckham kicked 5 goals or something on sat but i think that was out of the midfield.

Scott Beckham kicked 5 goals? Did they move the goalposts apart for the day? Hard as nails ol' scotty but dont think his kicking came from any text book ive read.

Daniel travena Played well for porties on the weekend, good kid fits in really well with all the guys and can play a bit to. Nothing sneaky about it just keep your ears to the ground and youmig hear a few things. He talked to a couple clubs in the SFL then decided on porties

Todd Howes is playing this year, going for 500 club games

Got an email from SFL today with no mention of the Under-18 change. Its that same old mushroom syndrome again
Good thing I read Shoe Boy's posts ---- I wouldn't have known that their Under-18's are playing Christies and not Hackham !!
Do they want The Boot to continue or not ?

Heard a rumour Ash Baxter may be transferring from Lonsdale to Porties as the poker games are too easy for him at Sherrifs Road

Might not have been 5 but was at least 4. Was at Morphettville Park so 2 steps out of the middle and you're shooting from point blank range ;)

Reynella C grade have also withdrawn and the Sunday under 14 and under 16 games between Cove and Morphett Vale has been switched from Lonsdale to Cove.

Haven't been informed of either of those developments yet either
Enjoy the Boot for the rest of this year, because there probably won't be one in 2010
Thanks for letting me know Waterboy, 'cos you can bet the SFL won't

Tarque Kicked 5 goals, Brad Redmuff Smith 4 goals, Scott Beckham 4 goals (2 from outside 50mtrs). No Dad's Army, you want senior players to lead the way and that they did. Says something for the younger brigade of the opposition who was unable to stop them. Experience goes along way in a young side - it's working well so far @ Ram Park. Beckham was suprising I tell you one of his goals was even from a set shot - I bloody could not believe he kicked it. Funny stuff I tell ya but he played a dam ripper of a game. You always know what you are going to get with Beckham and that is a 100% from the gutsy little man.

Has pulling the 18 side had a positive reaction this week with lads not having to commit to back to back games?

IMO i think it has. a lot of the boys were not as hard at the ball as what they would have been if there were no senior commitments. training is a lot more up beat and a few of the seniors have realised that there heads are on the chopping block if they dont have a good enough excuse for not turning up on a tues and thurs.

Do I? How so?

I THINK (not know) that its gonna be a hard day for us, like it is everyweek. The rain might help by slowing the movement of the ball down. If we can play like we did in the first qtr against shoeys for the whole game it could come down to the wire. I think we kept them on 0 for about 10 minutes.
