What a weekend for footy!! Horizontal rain, gale-force winds, ruck contests resembling a mud-wrestling tournament... love it.

Anyone got any scores? Only one I know about is the Twisties flogging Aldinga. Not much of a surprise there - the Roos always do pretty well in the wet.

Also, is that new SFL website up and running now? (can't remember the address)
Hey Goose, ya big stud! Take me to bed or lose me for ever.

Thats right fisho, Aldinga were beaten by Morphy park, like your team we're searching for our first win this year. 3 rounds in 15 to go, no need for beyondblue.org as yet IMO.

THIS COULD BE THE GAME OF THE YEAR.

Great post knob head! Shows how much you know about the league... Lonnie very competitive against both Christies and Noarlunga the big spenders and you come out with silly statements like that.... Save your judgements til you actually know what your talking bout champ...

Lets see here Catman you flog Hawks by 39 goals. Beat the Lions by 6 with the help of the most one sided umpiring performance I have seen in years, the shoes gifted a few goals.and a couple from 50 metre penalties. How can you compare these sides. After a 5 goal to zip start you win by 6 goals, you guys are stars. You must be so proud of yourselves beating a team equal of Hackham this easy.

we played towns yest went down by 7 goals weather held up well practically like playing in the dry. some good signs for the falcons but unfortunatly the umps let towns forwards have their hands in our backs all day and golding who did play well but was well looked after kicked about 8. heard towns were full strength and we have about 6 to 7 quality players to come back in the next few weeks. town will finish top four only cos of the draw favor but will struggle with the top 4 sides id think

Reynella had a solid win against Pt Noarlunga yesterday. Rained for almost the whole first half and was blowing a gale for the whole game. The boys allowed a couple of late goals which was a little disappointing but did get a chance to rest some players for the final 15 minutes.
Will be a huge test this week against Brighton who really seem to be the pacesetters of the league, will help playing them at home.
What was the report of the MV v Cove game?

CATMAN01 Lists his teams followed as Geelong and Noarlunga, I just assumed he is from the shoes.

These wonderful websites strike again !
The one the SFL is using is about as good as "mycricket" !
Christies Beach are "suddenly top of the table" after Edwardstown won again and have a higher percentage (Edwardstown showing on table as "won 2, lost 1". Reynella are also on the table as "won 2, lost 1"
For the record, the Table should be Edwardstown top, Christies second, Brighton third, Reynella fourth all still unbeaten
What am I supposed to do now ? ----- print the correct table, or print the official SFL table ?

Yes he would have, but not the 4 or 5 holding the balls against him, or being beaten by his 16 year old brother Adsy in more than a few one on one contests. Copped heaps from the crowd but took it well.

CF fair call as I had not seen his or her sides.
Also unfair comments as I thought Lonsdale made a good contest in trying conditions and to compare to Hackham is way of the mark.
What is with the Rigney boys and the holding the ball calls, they just love to put on a show and the young Rigney is going to be a quality footballer.

Emus by 2 or 3 goals in a hard slog at cove. Wind blowing straight across the oval made it a scrappy affair.
