Emus by 2 or 3 goals in a hard slog at cove. Wind blowing straight across the oval made it a scrappy affair.

Did Vick play?

No vick, didnt see gill either. Think the emus were missing a couple too. Well fought contest, B Bayly huge for emus.

Them Bayley boys are magnificent even when they are belted they get up and keep running.

The one the SFL is using is about as good as "mycricket" !
Christies Beach are "suddenly top of the table" after Edwardstown won again and have a higher percentage (Edwardstown showing on table as "won 2, lost 1". Reynella are also on the table as "won 2, lost 1"
For the record, the Table should be Edwardstown top, Christies second, Brighton third, Reynella fourth all still unbeaten
What am I supposed to do now ? ----- print the correct table, or print the official SFL table ?

think youll find that pretty much all this weeks games everyone was given a draw instead of a win or loss btp

14 Shoes 15/5 Marion 2/5
16 Bye!!!!!

I bet young Rigney would have loved knocking off his old team and his mates!!!

Yes he would have, but not the 4 or 5 holding the balls against him, or being beaten by his 16 year old brother Adsy in more than a few one on one contests. Copped heaps from the crowd but took it well.

Yeah i think Jezza has certainly grown up in years gone by he would have responded to the crowd. It was good light hearted fun and Jez still has plenty of mates at the Lions. He definately showed more class then Tyler after beating his old team.

I thought it was a good hard fought game Shoes too good on the day.Lions ran out of puff after putting in a big effort in the 3rd quarter but were playing catch up footy all day.

Watched this game! Dry for the a grade but howling winds! Good contest emus took their chances. 13 Bayley won the medal and should have by the length of the straight!
Emus looked to be missing earl and smith after about quarter time.
Cove without Vick, Gill, Platten, Kresos, Van leshout(Dutch) from grand final team.

Yes did hear about this and it is a bloody horrible scenario - there is always some wanker out there ready to take things too far. Frahmy is not in a good way but I believe is out of critical care today - I believe. Me and I'm sure everyone else sends best wishes to him to a speedy and hopefully healthy recovery. Bloody low life asshole - who would drive into someone on purpose. Thoughts to you Frahmy & your family and also Morphett Ville Park football club, no one deserves that. Give him plenty of support lads which I am sure you already are. Hope the prick gets what he should for a gutless, mindless pathetic act like that. [-( :x

just gave frahmy a call. us Mildura-ians stick together!!

dont wana say too much, as the kid is being done for 3 counts of attempted murder. frahmy wasnt the one that got stuck under the car, he was just hit by the car and got some serious injuries, and, although he remains optimistic, and its obviously early days in his recovery, no one is sure weather he'll ever take the field again. his list of injuries is pretty intense, but once again, dont wanna say too much on here.

let's just hope the parasite is treated as an adult in court, and gets the book thrown at him.

Thoughts to the Roo boys...hopefully all ok.....it is sickening when idiots take a fair fight and turn it into something more dangerous....we hear and see far too many of these senseless acts....gone are the days when a punch up was just that - a punch up...

Was talking to a Reynella person last night and they told me that when Reynella played MV at MV that their new coach who is from MV had his car vandalised after they beat his old club. Pretty disgraceful from the supporters, or in particular the people that vandalised his car! I know it's not all the MV supporters because they also told me from what they saw their were quite a lot of supporters who congratulated him after the win. But still pretty ordinary effort, obviously their parents didn't teach them how to lose with dignity!

Is the feral element at Morphies growing - most people down there seem to be pretty decent people but the mob that gather behind the southern goals are definately feral, maybe the club needs to have a bit of a cull, bit hard with supporter I suppose.
