Its currently a time of long losing streaks. Very long run snapped last week ---- Port were going for 25 in a row but didn't get it.
There's a couple more similar streaks involved this week, both in the Twenties.
Marion 21 straight wins against the Hawks ---- should make it 22
The other one is interesting with Sharks still trying to beat Flaggies after 22 unsuccessful attempts. Got within three points of them last year. I reckon they are a chance.

Hows my good mate Jezza Rigney going at the shoes? The bloke can play just quietly. When i'm back in town i'll have to catch up with him and a few other posters on the SFL forum and talk some garbage......

Noarlunga found out today in the A's, got blown away after half time by a very good Porties team by around 8 goals. only 10 points in it at half time, Noarlunga desperately needing a key marking forward.

Christies bubble has burst somewhat as well. Found out they are still miles behind Morphett Vale.
I'll see how they go next week against the Bombers before I sack them in terms of Finals certainties, but the usual "Big Six" all showed they still have strength today.

Just quietly Lonsdale look a little hard done by. Not very often you score 130 points and lose on any ground let alone by 9 goals.

At 3/4 time Happy Valley were down 16 goals to 3, kicked nine in a row in the last too Reynella's single to make the score a lot more respectable!

You're not hard done by if you let the opposition kick 29.
Quarter-by-quarters will be interesting to see on this one.

I think Morphy Park are clearly the best team we've played this year. We have played 4 of the teams battling for the eighth spot (christies, noarlunga, marion the others) and parks impressed me the most. They have huge ruck power, tall marking forwards and a couple of classy goal kicking onballers.
