[Well done to an old mate. Fish also played 3 or 4 seasons of Agrade footy at Myponga under Greg (bundy) White. From all his old teammates at Myponga you are a bloody legend

Many a player would have been FishLOCKed over those 300 games i'd say. And none i would think that could be considered dirty. A champion of the SFL.

Closest game was Port beating Marion by 46 points !!
Hackham in third closest game, and only had 16-15 kicked against them (56 points margin)

Emus by 35ish goals over Aldinga.

Oh and remember last weeks talk about Shane Fishlock playing his 300th A grade game this week....?? Well the big, tough, hard as nails, snap you in half with a legal tackle Fish pulled out before todays game because he was sick!!

The Twisties were pretty impressive today - clearly the better side all day, but didn't break clear until late in the 2nd quarter.
I'd say they are definitely looking like finalists, and it just depends on the form of a few of the early "bolters" (eg Christies, Marion & Noarlunga) and the continuing form of the slow starters this year (Porties & Valleys). In reality, you don't know how the teams stack up until about round 15 when everyone has played everyone. Then it comes down to the draw - and you'd expect the draw will favour Christies, Marion & Noarlunga etc over teams like Porties, Valleys, Flaggies and the Twisties who made the finals last year.

Just hope it stays interesting like last year when the last couple of finals spots weren't decided until the last match of the minor round.

Popped out to Flaggies to watch the last 1/4 and a but today, Morphies looked pretty good....

Interesting seeing about 10 Morphie kids with their shirts off being driven around the ground at the end in the back of a truck ute singing the club song  nice safe practice there!

Heard that michael thomas was sacked from tailem bend, and crawled back to morphie parks again. That appears to be a HUGE loss for tailem. Any truth to this, did he do anything yesterday?

was a very good game by the boys at doctors road yesterday. again not the best start giving the lions a 7 goal head start is always going to be hard to come back from. but the boys dug deep wanted the ball and once they got it used it very well. some good signs again from the u/21's some of those kids have very bright futures. hopefully in the brown and gold :D
