NO FORFEITS will be done - put that one to bed straight away. Cheers for your interest though - keen to get a boot in r we. Well done to Luke Berry as well played a corker in his 200th a grade game - congrats. Porties a good win, kept their heads when the rams lost theirs - too good on the day. Bloody wind was enormous! Edwardstown margin a bit of a suprise though!

Not trying to put the boots in. My mail is from a current Marion A/B grade player who told me this on the weekend. He seemed pretty sure of the fact so will be interesting to see what happens in the coming weeks.

Not allowed to forfeit your B Grade Guess Who, have to fill it up with juniors or whatever you can get to have 14 players

Luke Berry -still playing bloody good A Grade Footy and still looks as though he enjoys the contest every time that I have watched him
Well Done Luke.

Could be a difficult challenge for the rams considering they don't have under 18's either. Would be a said state of affairs if they had to fill it with under 14's.

marion do have an u/18's side this season.

Yeah my bad. Jumped the gun on that one.
what is the average age of the guys playing in the B grade. I know a few that would be in their early 40's who are playing and some coming out of retirement who haven't played for some 10 years.
Doesn't sound promising for the future of the club.

No talk on Townies beating Cove so easily, I looked at the goal kickers in the paper and counted just in case the Sunday Mail got it wrong.
Looks like Golding and Hibbard too Tall & strong for the Cove boys.

agree brad, will be interesting too see who wants to be involved,They had 11 phone calls saying they are keen but could not make it apparently,so that makes about 30 players, hope it can be a better showing than last year.

Just speaking to a mate of mine who has a few friends at Cove, apparently all is not well with the Cobras.

A few players aren't happy with Ando at the moment and believe the club is in disarray.

Having seen there results this year it does seem their could be some truth in it.

Maybe Edwardstown don't want to get ahead of themselves and only playing one week at a time. Trying to keep under the radar. A bloody good win though

No IO but I did have a 4 day w/end.

Not much to say other than we played the top side and they looked the part.

I have always admired the way the Bombers go about their business and Sat was no different. Blew us a way with a 9 goal 1st quater but to our lads credit it was an improved effort from there.
We are as a club improving in many areas and will keep our eye on the big picture and junior development. On Sat we played 9 lads that could play 18 footy and another 6 that played 18 last year.

Our 14 side is still to loose a game and was surprised how well they won over the bombers.
The 16 game was a cracker and over the last few years these sides have played some belters with Sat no exception with the Shoes winning by a goal.
Our 18 were given a lesson but battled well for the 4 quaters.
B grade lads played another good game but went down to a good Bomber side but will improve with some injured players coming back into the As.

On a sour note WE had no hot showers all day.

On a positive the lads let their hair/nuts/and everything hang out for Miss Noarlunga with some fun for all.
Dobbo was the big favorite with the natural look?

Ah Miss Noarlunga..
Finished runner up in the early 90's Shoe Boy...
The blond hair of Campion got him over the line....
Still suffer ankle problems from the high heels..
Dissapointing last couple of weeks, but I am sure Ratsy will turn it around...

This was at the Cove wasnt it? The small oval obviously suited the big fellas up front for Edwardstown.

I cant believe Hibberd kicked goals against Cove- very surprising...

Runner up well done.
Jonny Camps, now there is a name from the past and a Miss Noarlunga winner.

The last couple have told us all a lot about the group and letting quality sides kick 4-6 without a wimper is unaceptable and something that needs addressed.

This w/end brings another challenge for the club with H/Valley coming to the Shoe and we expect an improved effort over 4 quaters from all!!

Jack is still coaching the Bs and enjoyoing some success with a young squad and good numbers on the track.

Vegter has been on fire in the Bs and would be the fittest lad at the club.
Big Shultz has had some injuries but when playing has been very good in the A grade.

Shoe Boy, im assuming you played at brighton. Not the first time this year they have had cold showers down there. Played there earlier in the year and i had just finished relocating my nuts after a freezing shower when a trainer from brighton walked in with a dumb look on his face and asked "didnt you guys have any hot water?"
He offered for us to use their showers, but i had wasnt that keen on any of them trying to wash my hair for me!

What I got Magoo was Edwardstown goal kickers equaled the score recorded so the paper was correct,If the total was 7 then I knew the result was incorrect I was obviously surprised by the result.
and may be I am as blind as you are with out my glasses on Magoo :)
May be they are getting under the radar
