Noarlunga 18-12, Valley 3-9
Shoes were magnificent, first to the footy all day and totally smashed them.

Good to see all the flaggys players coming in for a beer after the game at lonsdale yesterday. That club is one of the most arrogant in the league. For a club who has never done anything to sit and slag off another club in the league about being no good, drink there own grog behind the goals and not have a single player or official come in for a drink after the game is a disgrace, when you guys do something as a club then you have a right to be arrogant. Morphett vale have that right but still show other clubs respect. Get off your high horses and show other clubs respect and you might get some yourselves, you were quick to have a crack at morphy parks last week but have shown yourselves to be worse.

maybe if it wasnt a 3 km walk after playing a game of footy we might have. all weve said about other clubs was marion are dirty and twisties were feral feral. i think youll find also farva that we ALL had a formal birthday party to go to which means you have to wear more than a wifebeater straight from our presentations so everyone went home to get ready. after our home games the only club who has come into our clubrooms is reynella so ill think youll find its more widespread than us.you guys played well yesterday and have def improved you never gave up. good to see a few under 14s playing b grade good on them most under 14s are scared to play under 16s so it is a credit to you

Went out to watch a very good game of football yesterday at Edwardstown with Townies getting up by about 5 goals. The Townies players were very good especially in the last quarter, but I have to say their coach is an absolute disgrace. Was constantly yelling out abuse at the opposition players and considering he coached these guys over the last couple of years it was just ugly. I was in the bar after the game and even heard Townie supporters apologising to Reynella players for his behaviour. I for one have not seen anything like this in any code of sport and can now see why Reynella sacked him. I would be surprised to see him still at Edwardstown next season as this is not how you want your Senior coach behaving and if it is accepted by the club then good luck to you as the club will never succeed with a culture like that.

We make an effort to have at least one drink at the opposition club it doesn't take long, the worst thing was the people drinking from there own cartons down behind the northern goals that really isn't good enough for any club to do. It was a cracking game all day though played in the right spirits, i think when we finally get our best team on the field we will be more than just competitive.

Congratulations to christies taking it up to cove, how did tyler play??

Aaron peterson is the port noarlunga player that went down.. All ive heard is he landed awkwardly, broke a rib and punctured a lung.. My thoughts go out to him... Get well az. Your a champ mate.

Good to hear he's okay, guess its just one of those random things that rarely occur in football.

Do people really care if the opposition comes for a beer after the game? Yeah I agree its good comradery and shows mateship but if it means so much to you that you need to get on the internet and pour your heart out about it surely thats taking it a bit far? Never seen someone so keen to have a beer with a nother team.

Edwardstown seem to have or are seeming to hit their straps now, the second half of the season will be interesting.

What happened to Happy Valley ? Were the shoes exceptional or Valleys very average. Good win to the shoes tho, seem to have imrpoved in leaps and bounds from when i saw them last year. Its good from an outsiders perspective to see a club with juniors etc starting to show in their seniors.

asert you are a whinger. you guys are just as dirty you got to let it go.
Every1 gets hit, cheap or not but thats footy champ! toughen up
Morphett Vale very impressive yesterday.
Pollards "lazy14" were certainly that, he is a gun very quick over first 10, but credit goes to the exceptional delivery he recieved.
They have alot of talls in forward line, especially with resting ruckman, difficult to match up on.
Marion matched them first quarter then they exploded.
and good stuff MV lads coming up for a few beers after game, short, beeching, smith etc
with their recent ins I'd say the sleeping giant has awoken.
My tip is make that 6yrs in a row for last day in september.
