[quote="Cheese Twisties"]Some HUGE results over the weekend! Great to see a few upsets to keep people interested!

Goodluck/ShoeBoy/anyone from Valley - what happened here? Who kicked the goals for the Shoes? Thought the Shoes were in dire need of a forward line when we saw them a few weeks back, so a little surprised to see they kicked enough goals to smash the usually miserly Vikings.

Twisties, the shoe's played some good footy on the weekend, and the goals came from a few guy's. the main 1 was J Rigney with 5 big one's. we mixed a couple of players around in spots they would not normally play and it worked out well.
We do need to keep winning though. know point playing like that for just one game.

I think this is the squad that is left with a number pulled out May have missed one as it was not clear on Sunday about some availability

M/Vale 1 player???? The Baylie boys not interested/Beeching and you could go on and on.

Also a great result for the Saints - come on Sweendog bring on the bragging

saints should have won but we wont go in to that, good effort from the guys, backline was brilliant all lookin good with a few to come back especially the PANDA

A VERY dodgy holding the ball decision with 20 seconds to go against the saints I hear ?

as a player i thought the free kick was there i was only 20m away from the contest. there is no one to blame except ourselves for letting them back in it!

I would question how you call a holding the ball decision when 9 players jump on the ball - that's life!

When 8 of the players are christies players thats how you would call it holding the ball. I think that was coves first or second free for the day. 4 quarters make a game not 1 decision.

Unbelievable that there is only 4 players from the 2 Grand Final Sides from last year.

Is Club Footy more important than Association Footy?????
I think not.

The old association debate is boring because lets be honest in the good old days it took the form of a carnival between SFL, GSFL and HFL so the players felt they could actually win something...the Lovelock Shield. The boof headed administrators most notably Kevin Curran of the GSFL need to extract their heads out of their own butts and go back to that format. I don't blame any player for having a weekend off, better than playing a Mickey Mouse crap game no one is interested in.
Although there is no hope of going back to the old format while there is so much 'bad blood' between SFL and GSFL.

Get this --- we're taking on the Amateur League without Beeching, without Bayly, without the Mail Medallist, without Tucker, without the Mail Medallist of '07, without a whole host of the league's most powerful players !!
What about Golding !!!!! We actually get one of their mightiest defecting to our camp and we're going to war without him.
Southern are going to get absolutely flogged ----- could be about as close as the Noarlunga/Happy Valley game I saw last week.

You will notice my info is correct and I don't try and undermine a club ...however I heard Mick Irvine had a fight with a quality forward last Thursday over a comment heard by a fellow player about him being overpaid...see how easy it is!!!!!! (That was frabricated by the way for any other readers)
