M/Vale, yes that was a 20 goal loss
Brighton 5 goals
H/Valley 3 goals after leading for most of the day.
Reynella 5 goals, 2 goals down into last qtr.

i never said m/parks shouldnt be in the finals,i sed it would be a disgrace if all 3 get in.m/parks may go ok in the first week of finals but from there on mate 20 gls is being nice mate,ya team is sh#t house its as simple as that!and exactly my point on the draw you guys havnt even played 2 of the top 5 yet,we havnt played f/hill an brighton its crap!

Cyclops you have a short memory! it wasnt that long ago that M/Vale YES M/Vale where shit house and used to get belted by 20 goals.

Wow why do i even respond to idiots? I obviously dont think m/parks will or deserve to be in the finals. Also we play edwardstown this week and cove week after then we played everyone so your statement is incorrect! Have you gat a thesaurus in front of you? " your team is shit" did that take you long to come up with that literaturary gem!
Were you the same bloke saying this forum is getting bad and lets get back to football???? Then Seriously have a look at yourself!
Obviously my opinion is void when great minds like yourself are on here so good luck solving the worlds problems not that you will need it genius.

Didn't Morphies beat brighton by near on 20 goals in the prelim last year? That kind takes a little sting out of your argument. Porties also from memory were not going to make it far but were less than a few kicks away from the GF.

I agree its not good to see big hidings handed out in finals, but the fact is it happens and anything is possible come finals footy. Hell, based on Morphies demolition job on Brighton in the prelim and Cove only just getting over Porties i reckon everyone thought Morphies and by how much. However as we as seen in the GF cove handed it to Morphies and thumped them.

The draw will probably decide who finishes where to a large degree this year and in future years. The only solution i see to this problem and increasing the standard of the comp is to lessen the number of teams back to around 10 everyone plays everyone twice and has a fair draw.

I remember that time shoeboy, it was around the same time you bought your players from other clubs to achieve success, and now those clubs are getting belted by more than 20 goals! :)

I Think having an easy run home can hurt you in the finals

3 years ago Porties had a easy run home, only playing the top 4 teams once each. finished top, then went out in straight sets BANG! BANG!

If you are serious about making an impact in the finals you cant be counting on a soft draw to get you into the final. ecause all of a sudden you find out what you have been getting away with in the soft draw just wont cut it in the major rounds.

Who's happy with just making it to the finals......

You want to win finals not just compete in them

It wont be long before Noarlunga have a strong group of home grown players that just might be as strong as MV are now.
I personally will enjoy seeing MV get the stuffing knocked out of them by the Shoes.

Cyclops, your a young bloke arent you? im guessing no older than twenty??

Making big statements like that can sometimes come back to bite you on the arse. If MV dont win the flag, then your comments are going to be all bulls--t and you'll look like an utter tool.

Also Sunday comp grand finals to be played Saturday?? Bit odd if this is true

Can anyone confirm??

Mini comp vote was very heavily in favour of 8/10/12 so it will go ahead from next year

Sunday grand finals on a Saturday afternoon/evening/night at Happy Valley under lights.

Poll was done by SFL on preferred timeslot for grand final for c's a while ago with 90% in favour of saturday evening. Not sure if the poll related to the kids as well.

Games are played all year sunday would be strange to play saturday finals, isnt that why these guys play sundays coz they can not play saturdays?

Nice post captain obvious. You are obviously new to Cove and the SFL- Your club won the spoon in Divvy 2 not that long ago.....

Now you are the reigning Div 1 premiers due to a lot of hard work behind the scenes by some quality people and in junior development which is a super effort.

Play on... and Dundee give me some more comedy gold. You're in rare form.

Not new to Cove just calling it as it is. It was a response to your Flaggies mate that was talking crap. Keep up...

Getting a little carried away aren't we ? There's another mob around going pretty well at the moment as well --- they're called Brighton.
Morphett are not going to keep their top spots in at least two of those grades much longer because Brighton are poised to snatch them back again while you take the bye ---- which is fair enough because that's the way you got it off them in the first place.

And look out for the Flaggy "slowdown" on Sunday with a few has been posters pulling on the boots...
