From what I believe and I COULD BE WRONG, but the player has not been registered to any club therefore doesn't need a clearance. As I said maybe someone from Reynella can give us some more info. Would be a massive pick up. From playing AFL to SFL in 12 months.

Heard same thing. Its true.Told by a reynella player last week.Doesnt need a clearence etc due to never being registered before, was on a AFL list (Melbourne) i think.Massive in for the wineflys, unlike other big named ex league players i think you will find this blokes only about 24 not 30ish like others before him have been.Oh well time will tell. :D

I find it hard to believe he could have risen to AFL level never being registered at a local club?

Played AFL 2007, is only 21, has become disillusioned with SANFL and just wants to have a kick with some mates at Reynella, Never had a local club as he is from the country, is fitting in very well and will play this week.

Does he have to be registered prior to June 30 or was that done??

If coming from AFL does that mean he does not have to be registered with SFL before cut off??

Great to S Middleton back can't wait to hear that cherpy little voice again running through the centre

I am guessing after my research that the player is Jace Bode - midfielder who was recruited from Sturt to Melbourne. Played 9 games. It is either him or Isaac Weetra. Come on Winies come clean. It has me stuffed how you can sign people up after June 30 when they have been living in Adeliade already. Fair enough if they have just moved down from the country or interstate. But this far into the season? - I DON"T KNOW ABOUT THAT. Anyway good recruit Reynella if true.

Yep- Melbourne lists men its Bode or Weetra.

Since Bode is getting league action at Sturt, Weetra it must be.

Do we start calling reynella the wineflie$?
