sorry lads,as dth said last week i dont think the result of yesterdays game will mean anything come finals.the game just showed me that there is absolutely nothn between the 2 sides and its going to be an exciting finals series between the top 5 only.both sides have unbelieveable midfields and an awesome contest it was, also i think brighton had a couple out.hopefully for the remainder big games the umpiring panel can give the best umpires to the big games,i dont think both sides would have been too happy with the umps they were very in-consistent.

good game yeasterday a very good contest the scoreboard really didnt reflect the game at all and i think even cove would say the same.difference was the midfield ran down all day and kicked numorous goals josh vick you should be playing afl some of hes goals yesterday hird would have struggled with.
fair bit of argueing between themselves they will need to sort that out come finals to be a contender again including an absolute disgusting comment from a player at i will say one of the captains cos he didnt kick to him. was very poor form to say the least.
very very well umpired all day with 2 umps that were fit enough to keep up with the game and explained every decision so well done to pope and poppewell

Agreed asert. Next year's quiz night question 1- "Which Aldinga player allowed club legend Wade Stone to kick 2 goals in the last quarter of the game where he broke the games played record?"

Congrats to Lonsdale on the mini carnival yesterday. It was great to see the clubs with their marquees and flags and so many kids and familys having a ball.

On a sour note where was South Adelaide and their marquee and marketing people??????where was the players signing autographs for the kids?????This is a club that says that it is working closely with its zones?????Ask the GSFL and SOME of the sides in the SFL if this is true and the answer is a clear NO!

I spent a lot of my time with the managment and footy ops of SA in the past month and to say I am concerned with their direction and future is an understatement. This managment are taking the piss I sincerly mean that!!!!!.

Again well done Lonsdale and a big rassberry for SA.

Maybe because it was Sunday South Adelaide where all attending the EDGE CHURCH???????

The one positive about the SFL draw, the league sets up a few cracker rounds at the end

Sullies by 35 pts over a sharks outfit desperate for a win
Brighton by 20 pts, but Cove benefiting from a game against one of the contenders leading into the finals
Porties by 1 pt to set up a cracker last round
Flagstaff by 4 pts, setting up a super clash with Christies v Porties next week
Cheese twisties trumping over chicken to secure a finals berth by 10 pts
Noarlunga by 150pts trying desperatley to boost their percentage
Emu's firing at the right time, over Reyella by 15
Valley over a dozen cases of pale after securing their finals berth after a shaky 2009

The bushies to determine the fate of 7th and 8th with games against Christies (7th) and Noarlunga (9th) to round out the season.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Reynella won the 2/3's. I as a parent was extremely excited for the team. The other thing I did love was the passion shown by not only the winefly boys but those from the opposing teams. The kids had a real crack. As a lover of footy thereI saw a a heap of kids with 'Potential' to travel very far in our game. To see 7 and 8 year olds with more balance than many 'senior' footballs in the SFL and GSFL was amzing. I wonder if any scouts were out to at least identify a player and keep an eye on them over the next 4 years??

The SFL and the and Lonsdale FC should be congratulated on Sunday's carnival! Well done to all the kids too!
