The last resort of the beaten --- blame the umpire.
It was Reynella who put an end to the Cobras today, not the men in orange.

BTP

Yes BTP is right it was Reynella who won the game and Cove who blew a 5 goal lead, and had opportunity to seal it but kicked 5 points early in the 3rd quarter then gave away a couple of frees and let Reynell back in, when they should have been dead and buried.

I think if we added up the mistakes by players and coaches from both sides they would far outweigh the perceived mistakes by umpires.

A great game of footy to watch from a footy purists view, dissapointing from a Cove perspective but great for Reynella and even better for the Bombers watching two teams go into extra time. Still and all a reasonable season but look out 2010

Andrew Procter now on 94. Is he a chance ??
He booted five today. A repeat of that next week would put him on 99.

Congrats to the winners at the Shoe yesterday :ymapplause:

The 14 game saw the Shoes go down in a cracker against Cove with both sides playing good footy but the big FF for Cove making the diffrence.

H/Valley 16 side over Reynella in a good contest and a good win for the young Valley lad after such a tragic week.

M/Vale 18 made to sweat with Reynella coming back in the 3rd and last.

Shoe's B grade played with pride against a very good M/Vale who where made to work for every kick. Dissapointing last quater where the Shoe where down by 2 with the wind at there back but to M/Vales credit they stood up and answered the challenge as good sides do.

Also like to thank Jack Smedley who coached his last game for the B grade and all that know Jack wish him all the best and again thank you :-*

The A grade game looked to be a fizzer with 7 goals to Cove before Reynella got on the board and 8/2 to 2/3 at half time it looked like game over. The second half was a cracker and when the siren sounded for full time we had 11/9 a piece, the Reynella boys had the momentum in the extra time and held on to win a cracker.

Well done to all at the Shoe over the last 2 weeks and all need congratulated for your efforts to make the day an enjoyable one for all that attended the Shoe. :ymapplause:

Next week all the Shoe get behind the 16 side at c/beach.

If we must play the Grand Final at South Adelaide, how come we don't use our best two ovals for the Prelims ?
Noarlunga is the best Finals venue by a street. Finishing its programme by Semi week is a joke

Fair enough, since we are on the topic of winning and losing I don't reckon Reynella will win next week. Good comeback this week but I'd be suprised to see them beat Brighton
