I must thank you for trying to stir up Reynellas money (or plasma & air conditioners) man, was worth his weight in gold on Saturday.

I couldn't give a rats at how much Reynella overpays their players mate.

after the siren you are a peanut with a capital P,dont be a clown who sits behind a keyboard whilst at home watching the whole series of the bold and the beautiful being a hero,I can tell you now all players and staff and supporters are getting along nicely, now too some real footy talk, Two huge games this weekend will be some cracker footy played and weather to go with it,Morphies to win by 8+ goals, watched valley last week cant see them kicking enough goals with the forwards they have, and there midfield wont go with morphies ,Reynella by 5 goals, they want another crack at morphies so they will come to play this week for 4 quarters ;)

Why would you bother with that crap after the siren......... so last year.

serious note, any long time E.Town people care to comment on how they think their club went during their forst year in the SFL. Was the competition better than they thought? is the atmosphere better, is it different style of footy..

Not sure whats going on out there though, was speaking with an injured A grade player on the sidelines and he was bagging the big ruckman who played a great game. It wasn't an attack on his footy but more a personal attack on his personality and character. This wasn't confined to the opinion of one person it was echoed by several other players standing on the sidelines. Could it be a bit of jealousy as to the amount of money the big fella is getting paid... I dunno.

Think you've made your point on more than one occasion.
Might be a good time to give it a rest or approach the player in question and speak to him about it.

Anyway, big week this week and another year that there's been a surprise Prelim Finalist. However, can't see the Valley's going any further. Masssive de ja vu in the other prelim. 3rd year in a row that the Bombers meet Reynella at Bice Oval in a do or die final. Too close to call.

What about last Saturday at the Valley. Great day and seemed to justify the SFL decision to play the 3 GF's on the Saturday afternoon/evening. Surely best crowd ever for a C grade GF and great that the juniors got to play in front of a big crowd.

Good to see the young Bomber C grade (exception of a few) beat the Emu geriatrics. I thought I saw the canvas and shotgun come out after the game to put down a few of the Emu old boys, with the Mexican first in line. And good on that "thug" Godwin for winning the medal. All that talk about him last week just scared the Emu's away. No-one went near him. And when Hayford did, it was like shooing flies away.

Relax champ... if you read back I think you'll find I congratulated Reynella on their win over the weekend. I'm only stating what an injured player was saying on the sidelines and the few around him seemed to agree with his comments. You Reynella lads sure get defensive at the slightest criticism. Its like a domestic violence relationship at RFC with the wife answering the door with two black eyes saying everythings fine here when obviously its not. Good luck on the weekend, I gotta get back to the Bold and the Beautiful - being a hero - "not sure how that works". Perhaps I need to lower my IQ a little on that one. :D

Saturday - Morphies by 7 goals
Sunday - Reynella by 3 goals

GF - Reynella by 7 points

Bit of heart back at Reynella and are playing more like a team each week. Well done Early, committee and leadership group out there!

Will be interested to see how Reynella go after 2 weeks of very solid finals footy. Brighton usually a good running side so i think they may struggle to keep up over 4 quarters. Brighton just.

Two very different Prelims--
Morphett by ten goals (well done to Vikings, but this one is way too tough)
Reynella by three points (in an absolute thriller)
Emus to win the Grand Final

m/vale v valley-emus in a much closer game than wot a lot of people think.mckenzie didnt play both times against the emus this year and he and beeching always have excellent battles.about 3 gls.

wineys v bombers-wot a tough game this will be,perhaps the wineys running on a lot of adrenaline at the moment so will this be enough to get them over the line?bombers will run all day and on the big wide open spaces at c/beach,i think the bombers in a close one.

McKenzie played the second match against Morphett Vale.

I don't think Valley can be underestimated but I think it will come down to the fact their forwards may not be able to kick a winning score.

Bombers for me, I think they will have a bit too much run in the legs.
