I heard the same about the Emu's job.

What are you saying & Pigs Fly? are you saying emus appointed "Bish" because they were afraid of a verbal barrage if they didn't, I don't think so.

Read it again old fella. I was talking about the same incident with Mitts.

Good game of footy Sunday appart from the cowardly act by the reynella player and he only got a yellow card. Prescott stood up well in the last quarter and changed the flow of the game when the bombers were making a move. Also the chf for reynella took some crucial marks at important stages(can't kick thou) and gave young rivers a bit of a lesson about being led to the footy. Also the use of the footy and dispossal from brighton in stages was quetionable and costly. The bombers are a solid outfit and with the inclusion of some quality forwards and body bulk from the young players they will get that flag in the near future. Also dth did any players play there last game yesterday? I say that as it looked like lindsay was emotinal as he left the ground.

Yeah Lindsay retired after the game, told me when we shook hands. Great bloke off the ground, seemed to scare a few of the boys on the ground!

They have there own mental factor to get over in finals i think!!

That's just it - they've got the least to lose, because no one expects anything more than the bridesmaid dress!

That being said, I couldn't give a s**t who wins it, I'm just glad Edwardstown won't. :D

The Coach or Team Manager of each team vote on there own players after each match.
give a 3,2 and 1 vote.

Not the ideal way but how else would you do it?

Not necceasarily the best player big bang - TEAM MAN - so could be someone who did a job for the coach/team - courageous acts - leadership etc. And yes voted 3, 2 & 1 each week by the coach I would say mainly of each side. Agree really cannot see any other real way of getting the votes for this award on a weekly basis.

team man should be judged by the opposition coach, to easy to rig the team man award. I am not implying that it was rigged this year but just saying with the coaches doing it they could probably give the same person 3 votes every game.

At least its not like it was 5 or 6 years ago where the leaderboard was published for each grade every few weeks - the leaders then got 3 votes every week till the season finished which makes it a bit of a joke.
Maybe its best not to actually have this award, while its great for the winner i dont think its always a true reflection of who is the best team man in the grade
