It does more damage to your body than good and anybody that tells you different is both arrogant and stupid. If world class athletes are complaining why the roof is not closed on Vodafone arena surely that sends a message to amateur sports players. Common sence.
What about Power and Crows training in the heat, so it can't be doing that much damage to the body.
1- They trained at 9 a.m, so it's mid to high 30's at the hottest
2- They are proffesional athletes who's bodies realistically overall are just about the pinnacle
of fitness above any other sport on the planet (Eg being able to sustain constant physical
punishment and run 8-20 km in a match).
3- They are well equiped with shower fans, ice cold water/sports drinks, have world class
support from the sidelines.
4- They are observed before and after training to see the effects by proffesional sports
scientists.
Do you remember that bloke from Norwood a year or 2 back whos body went into muscle meltdown and subsequintly almost died??
Thats a bloke from an SANFL club who would be fitter than 99% of us posting on here......[/quote]
That's not entirely true... He would be about 3000% times fitter than me.
