I hear there's a team in Great Southern that would cater for all the above mentioned...

Obviously referring to the side in Red and White.
Probably the best anywhere outside of SANFL at present but in my book it is yet to be proved which is the greater between Willunga and Morphies.
One point difference pre-season means nothing. Both are truly magnificent units.

Think you are selling 4-5 SAAFL div 1 sides short there. Goody Saints,Henly,Gaza,TTG and 1 or 2 others would be better sides imho. Not by much however.
On the otherhand there would be 5 other sides in my above post from Mildura that would knock them all off ;) . Interstate I know but still closer than Whyalla and Mount Gambier.

Why is everyone so keen to fight Morphie boys at the moment? Last night we had not even ordered a beer & the Marion blokes were at us. Isn't it bad enough you flog us on the field. We only have 8 at training, we don't need injuries as well!

Imps are not a superstar team MC but have a good allround unit which is needed in country footy to win premierships. To many teams out there have 4 gun recruits with not enough good local players. They have won back to back premierships in 08/09. They pay decent amounts of $$$$$ and have a few gun players. Would def be a top 6 team in SFL. Emus, Brighton and Reynella would all beat them comforably IMO.

Have i missed something here, or are you saying Imps have won back to back flags? Ramblers won in 2008, Imps previous flag before 09 was in 2002 (they've lost about 7 grand finals in the last 10 years).

Both those two teams prob should be on the training track trying to improve their footy skills rather than at fight club!

Bloody oath a.chucka, when will these younger blokes realise that defending your clubs "honour" is done on the field, not with cheap shots in bars & nightclubs. Footy is a mans game, & what happens on the field stays on the field, simple as that. Young 20-somethings would not have made it 15-20 years ago, you played hard, punched on & had a beer with the same bloke after the game. Grow up!

Johnny Lewis trains people for 1 on 1. Probably would be of no use at Marion.

Settle down kids. We got it back from everyone else. Chrisites Beach certainly calling the kettle black.
As for Friday night, the story i've got is one of the Morphy Park fellas was acting big and tough and when push came to shove bit off more he could chew.
No headbutts, just a left jab that ended the fight.
People who start fights and lose always seem to have something to say afterwards.
Not cool Moe.
