Marion? elaborate

Friday night, jetty bar, last years captain for the rams (i think), Morphy boys walk in, confronted, chested, head butt....on!

Bloody oath a.chucka, when will these younger blokes realise that defending your clubs "honour" is done on the field, not with cheap shots in bars & nightclubs. Footy is a mans game, & what happens on the field stays on the field, simple as that. Young 20-somethings would not have made it 15-20 years ago, you played hard, punched on & had a beer with the same bloke after the game. Grow up![/quote]

and when will you pld blokes realise that a fight between two blokes in a pub doesn't revolve around football.
We should focus on football topics, not everytime a member of your club gets into a fight.

Obviously referring to the side in Red and White.
Probably the best anywhere outside of SANFL at present but in my book it is yet to be proved which is the greater between Willunga and Morphies.
One point difference pre-season means nothing. Both are truly magnificent units.

willunga, morphies, willunga, morphies, please forum users not again,we will never know.

J.Bell might be heading UFC but he will deinately be a weight division higher than last year - haha!
Cannot compare sides and a useless argument as Vulcan says never going to see them at full strength playing each other - all good sides in their own right - just each supporters own biased opinion.
Disappointing to hear of the rumble - dam alcohol and testosterone! Always ruins a night out & hope no-one is hurt from it! Go out have a good time and pull your heads in or go home and punch the shit out of yourself in your own loungeroom. That way the only bloke who gets hurt is the knob head that is looking trouble.
Feel the love fella's.

Have also heard that ex-Jervois player Paul Meekins has gone there as Assistant Coach.

Spot on. . . Paul Meekins, ex m/vale, Jervois and League player with South Adelaide will be A grade assistant at the Sharks this year. Dont expect him to pull on the boots though

Sorry Shoe boy... again i think your mail is slightly wet on this one!

Greenbank will be back playing at the Emus next season, he gave me confirmation on saturady so you can put that one to bed! but you may be on the money about his 3 mates.

Aldinga coach is aggressively targeting our under 18 premiership side from 3 seasons ago as he coached a loosing G/F side against them and knows the players mentioned.

Some loose lips going around at the moment, and mail thats from the horses mouth suggest that there may be an influx of CA$H down at shark park and they won't hesitate to give it away to anyone willing to listen. Good Luck to them!

Brad was appointed for 3 years, 2009 the first. We spent approx $35,000 on players for 2008 and a little over $10,000 for 2009. 2009 was the first year in Brads plans and he has been recruiting younger guys to build a team. Aldinga has a business model in place that is helping our finances improve and we have exceeded our forecast for the year and paid $30,000 worth of old debt. Our spending for 2010 will probably be more than 2009 figures but i think Brad will have a little in the kitty to have a 'real' crack at 2011. With fully audited books we are now also able to apply for grants we were ineligible to apply for because of poor records.
Aldinga will be here for the long haul and our cutbacks for 2009 have set us up for the future.

These are my view on things, I don't like quoting figures but it helps to stop the crap, my figures are from the AGM report.

Mix bag to be honest H/Hawk. A real challenge at that age for the kids... finishing school, uni, work, Chicks, partying and a case of the couldnt be bothered anymore all come into play at that age. In a perfect world at every club u would want all kids to take the next step up to seniors and keep playing football....

Thats Graet news for the Aldinga Football club, getting all finances in order is a major priority to building a successful footy club.
How many wins next season will be a pass mark for Brad and a successful season for Aldinga leading into 2011?

Also can somebody please post the link for the 2010 Southern Football League Schedule... not sure if its been posted before but i may have missed it.

Not going to comment on footy side of things, that's up to Brad, I play B grade now (if I can hold a spot) so not really my place, obviously like to see 1 team make the finals but I've wanted that for 8 years, lol, time will tell

Very politically correct answer there Backliner, but even b graders have there own opinions too! I'll rephrase my question mate.... As a current player and from the sounds of it a dedicated club man, How many games would you expect your A grade to win next season?
Im only asking for your opinion if your allowed to share it with us. :) :)

Im probably not one to comment but finals is a bit of a stretch isnt it Backliner?

Obviously the sharks were a very depleated side when we played last. I think both our sides will improve a lot for the start of 2010, but finals for both of us are a few good seasons away. Just my opinion.
