ha ha we are all comedians here :D
no one is being offered $150 per game!!!

What ever helps you sleep at night HH3. but the FACT is, your club will never improve if you go about recruiting in that way. and when you open your eye's, from your sleep you may be able to see that.
FACT $150 a game for a B grade player, Goodluck for the year champ?

My View? --- leave the Hawks alone !!!
Everyone moans about the immense margins from Hackham games, so let them get on with their attempts to do something about it.
If they are offering coin that is too much or whether they aren't ---- who cares ---- if it doesn't work they'll go to plan B (whatever it is). The main thing is they are ON THE JOB AT HAND. Give them some credit for their attempts to spare the League from those awful one-sided farces.
Go Hawks --- those with foresight are wishing your quest all the best.

Not hard for a club to spend money they don't have, most suppliers etc give you on credit and all you do is delay payments, not saying is the case at Hackham but if they think this is the year to go forward maybe overspend this year and hope for more income next year.

The way things are going bottom teams are spending up to beat each other

BTP im not having ago about them trying to improve, i hope they do. its the way they are going about it. if everyone give's the guy's who are throwing there money away a tap on the back and say good job atleast your trying, there not going to go anywere. how about they start with
plan A first, then maybe go to plan B.
at the moment, starting from plan D is not so good.
Go Hawks---those who start from plan D rather then A wont go anywere.

Not saying knocking on peoples doors is ok but quite frankly anyone playing regular a grade footy would want a hefty price for the wholloping each week with offering b grade players a consistent a grade game and some compensation. If it wasn't for the raping and pilliging of their players in the past they wouldn't be targetting b grade players in the first place. As I said tho there are better ways to go about it

You would have to ask mitts that one HH3,not here to bag your club but if you want to recruit players and you have limited funds then target one player (a player that is well liked by his peers)pay him some coin and then get that player to network his mates if it comes off all of a sudden your one player has turned into four. :D

It would appear that there are no rules the SFL are going to allow Lonsdale and M/Park to run Sunday U14 and 16 but not Saturday.

I would like to know the reasoning for this. This decision to allow them not play the 14/16 on a Saturday affects every other club that does have juniors, messed up fixtures, loss of gate takings, BBQ etc..

What possible reason can there be for not playing on Saturday after all this is what the SFL prides itself on a whole day of footy for the family? This decision rips at the heart of the strength of the comp.

So before getting into E/Town ask the question of the SFL.

Bit hard to demand E/Town bring a full compilment when the existing clubs don't.

Can't speak for Morphettville Park but in Lonsdale's case the decision is to have an under 14s side on Sunday or have no under 14s side. Without the under 14s who are still in year 7 at private schools and have to play Saturday for their school Lonsdale do not have the numbers for an under 14s side.

Lonsdale have presented their case to the board and the board have agreed that it is better that they have a team of under 14s somewhere than have no team at all.

For a small club 4 or 5 kids is the difference between having or not having a team.
