After reading about Norwood thrashing Sturt, anything could happen
Put it this way - Noarlunga are 3rd with 3 wins, Marion 12th with no wins.
So probably a 50/50 chance if you go by SANFL & AFL results so far in 2010.
Apparently ladder position means Zero when it comes to picking winners.

No, if you had the same team as last year the ground wouldnt make a difference. But from the talk coming out of your own camp, things dont seem to good. If things are as bad as they sound this year we should be a chance.

Anyway, it doesnt matter what i think mate. We''ll just have to see what happens on saturday. My prediction is we will kick our highest score of the season thus far...might not win, but you never know what can happen...see you saturday champ..

Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Incredibly strange game at Edwardstown. Towns led 6 to 1 at quarter-time, Reynella booted 7-10 in second, Towns kicked 7 in third and Wineys 13 in the last
In the end all games went as predicted except margin at Flagstaff --- Cobras scraped in by 11 points.

Flagstaff were good today. Were realy in the game even up until to the last 10 minutes.
Even the Bs pushed Cove.
FHFC supporters are pleased with the start of 2010 and hope it keeps going onwards & upwards.

Looking at the qtr by qtr scores 34 of the 40 goals were kicked down the one end.

Was it blowing a gale towards one end at Edwardstown today? or just one of those things?
Seems strange as it was a beautiful day up at Flagstaff with hardly any wind.

I was at Kenilworth Oval (not far from Edwardstown) and agree there was a decent breeze favouring a team kicking south (maybe first half, it did drop off). Not quite the gale you get at Christies or Porties but strong enough to get a extra 5-10 metres on a decent kick, and enough to hold it up enough if the kick not punched. Breeze going straight down the spine rather across the ground was what was would have been the advantage.

Nah there was no real breeze down at Edwardstown, just a strange game. After last weeks game I think the boys just game out thinking we would just have to rock up. All credit to Townies they came out ready to play. We pegged it back in the last qtr and hung around in the third, but the last qtr was just phenomonal. The ball hardly came down the northern end and the Winies just kicked away. Good win in the end but the scores don't really show how close the first three qtrs were.
The only time i've ever been wrong...was when I thought I was wrong!!!

well Spot On, maybe if you're going to tell us when we guess correctly, maybe just tell us who/what you're talking about now and what you know/have heard of the situation, to save us the time?

mayabe it's a little less fun for you, but alot easier for all of us!
