Spot On - this seems like a post for someone else who is to lazy to get on this forum now, however the FF should of been in the best palyers, 3 goals gave a good contest and a great snap from the pocket in front of the canteen. Unfarmiliar with players names but numbers that stood out were 3, 10, 13 (tough little bugger got crunched and got up and was at the next contest, 18 on the wing did some good things. 22 missed some easy shots inside 40 didn't see much of him in the 2nd half but got in the best players, takes a good grab though.

Great review Hound, your talents would be better served on Foxtel....
What were you doing at Morphy Parks anyway...sniffing around for a place to cock your leg?

Welcome back Dutchamn :D , you have been missed from this forum.
Live just around the corner and wanted to see how far the emus were off the pace this year and plenty of poles with emu flags on them to relieve myself on.

Are you having a go at me hound? You made a statement that you were surprised with the best players named in the Sunday Mail , so I was just interested to know who you thought they were. I don't believe you have posted that anywhere else or am I wrong? Anyway you have given me your answer to my original question, thanks and cheers.I havn't posted much lately because there has not been much to comment on, but I do read it every day.

just for the record, Morphy parks best players weren't in the paper sunday. A mistake was made and the goal kickers got put in twice. As for the game was impressed by the roos effort especially early. And thought they were hard at it all day and didnt roll over.
But IMO i think the score could have blown out a little more if played out at the Vale. The Emus looked a little cramped on Denham ave and couldn't create the space and run they usually do. But seeing They only play here once a decade im sure they aint worried about it..

are you serious?

have you seen the size of emu park?

i could be wrong, but i'd say Denham is a fair bit bigger than their home ground!

yeah thats the same reason hackham lose all our away games...the opposition ovals cramp our style

we lose the home games coz our oval suits the other teams running game...you're all welcome

What about Ballard?
Was on the wing in front of the bar and just got better as the game went on.
Plenty of experience in that position.
Lots of voice (with out shouting) and bringing other people in to the game.
EMUS? the rock stars of the outback.
emus are berserk. they run fast, playhard,
and to be honest, we admire their insanity.

Haha I remember you holding up this sign when Sharks played Twisties in '07 - can't remember exactly what it said but something about getting Frahmy to play at Aldinga. When he did his nude run after our game the following day, there was someone accompanying him on a bicycle, holding up the sign.

hahaha yeah

i made a better one the next year though!

it looked like the actual twisties logo but it just said "FRAHMY ARMY" on it.

actually just messaged him the other day to see how his recovery has been since the accident. good to hear he's coming along and staying involved up there.

My tips for Saturday--

Brighton V Cove ---- depth of class will be the difference.

C/Beach V Lonsdale ---- Saints to bag a thriller

Hackham V Noarlunga ---- Shoes turn for percentage

H/Valley V M/Parks ---- too hot for the Roos

Marion V Reynella ----- won't be pretty

M/Vale V Flaggies ------ big test for Falcons, but Emus too quick

Pt Noarlunga v Towns ----- will prove too tough in dying stages again
