Massive game next week between Bombers and Winies. Only prediction I'll make is that P32 will continue to earn about $50 per disposal.

DTH what value can be taken out of the game? Depending on what players are away at the Country championships. Unfortunately if both clubs have 3 or 4 away it will detract from a judgment on how each are travelling.

Metropolitan league playing in country championships??

What a fairy tale finish at Morphett Vale for Pollard. Mark, siren sounding and goal with his last kick very fitting.

That's a total joke :-q :-q !!!! So this bulldust of Representative Games ruining a good round strikes again !!! This was going to be the game of the decade !!!!
Now its going to mean nothing. The last straw in a year of absolute garbage programming !!

I'd suggest unfortunatly that it's not the regular posters that cause these issues, it's the keyboard snipers that join up for a few post to slander individuals with their severely dramatised bed time stories. With some of the intelligent posts of which many things are added you'd be able to start an Underbelly series 4. Underbelly The Tale Of 2 Divisions!!

Fitting end for a legend of the SFL. Shame to see him go, but very much still at the top of his game. - As were the emus, still with several still out.....

At least I can always say I still picked Reynella to actually win  ---- one heck of a side. I reckon they'll go top.

Bombers beat Townies 23-15 to 4-11 after leading by 11 goals at half-time so you weren't too close on that one either BTP. Massive game next week between Bombers and Winies. Only prediction I'll make is that P32 will continue to earn about $50 per disposal.

DTH, would have thought being a ruckmen its not all about possesions for Bayliss. As long as he is giving Reynella first use of the ball he is doing his job IMO.

The addition of Gary Karpany will help there chances in the run to the finals no doubt after kicking close to 50 last year for the Lions. Clearance was finalised yesterday i believe.

Also well done to Brad 'Red Muff' Smith who after twinging the hammy again yesterday has officially hung up the boots.
While not as dominant in his final 2 years in the SFL, (although 76 goals in 12 games last year was pretty good), it is the end of a great career across country footy leagues and SANFL level.
Champion bloke.

Why don't the SFL do what the Hills league do and have no games this weekend?

SFL said at meetings earlier this season that they had looked into it but with 15 teams (byes) it takes the SFL 20 weeks to play an 18 game program. If another bye was thrown in for the state championships everyone would have been playing in March.

Apparently next season there will be a bye weekend for the state champs though.

Probably another thing that the re-introduction of two divisions may help with!
