A lack of Mojo??? Well maybe in the 2nd quarter but we kicked 9 goals in the first quarter, and 8 in each of the 3rd and 4th quarters, that definitely sounds like a team with "no mojo"!!! Having a look at some of the other scores we weren't the only team struggling to kick it between the big sticks on a windy day (M/V 20.21, H/V 30.25).
Brighton kicked 19.22 against them last week to win by 13 goals, we beat them by 21 odd goals. M/V beat them by 5 goals earlier. Now I know people will say they had some players out, but as we learnt a couple of weeks ago, that's no excuse as you can only play the team that is on the field. They consistently played an extra man or two in the back line which is what caused Proctor to "only" kick 7!
No problems down at Reynella Joe, we had a small hiccup a couple of weeks back and are looking to rectify that by finals time.

Procter now just one short of 80 ---- leaves only about twenty to get it this year.

with 4 games to go for both reynella and noarlunga (including a bye for both) before they play eachother in the final round could we see a Hawks/Blues (buddy/Fev) of last year in the AFL.
Proctor and Golding both bringing up the ton in the same game???

They have a couple of tough games each in their last few so if they get held well in these games it is a possibilty.
Beat the whites of eggs with a pinch of salt until stiff...Continue beating, gradually adding sugar, vinegar and vanilla, until of thick consistency.

Golding ten ahead (89)
Pretty unlikely Procter will beat him to it, although stranger things have happened

Bagged the Beach over their pathetic 2-0 the other week, but I've gotta hand it to them this week ---- big lift had them within ten points of the Emus at halftime. =D>
Gonna be hard for them to make the finals from here but that sort of effort is sure going to help them if they can reproduce it.

Apparently a player failed to show up for A grade game after training &being named Thursday.
Some rumours are gathering momentum that a core group of the last loyal players will be moving on next year.

I'm calling it now that Marion won't field two sides next year.

Surely the people running the club have to be made accountable for the demise of the mfc. You cant have 10 years of bad luck!! A coach can only do so much. With the amount of long term players leaving the club over the years as well as not being able to keep gun recruit paid players the culture must be the main concern. From winning a flag in 2000 to where the club is now it is an absolute disgrace!! Who does the buck stop with????

From what ive heard the Bilney brothers have left town due to lack of housing and moved back home! Marion have paid those boys alot of money, and from what ive heard where not paying any rent due to the housing being set up by the club! They have let the club down, the club hasnt let them down! As for the player that didnt turn up, ive heard he is closely related to the Bilneys and its no surprise that he didnt turn up!

I agree with the culture,i heard that they only had 18 players(combined) for the two training nights over the bye! What can the coach do to get lazy people to turn up!! Alot of money has been spent on one year players, over the last few years, and that is the main reason that core group may have left or is thinking about it! For those true to the club they will stay, but maybe the buck stops with getting some fresh blood on the board, communication with those players, and some hard decisions on people getting money who just are not worth, which IMO has been going on for years!

HTF would you know what is going on at Oval Road, Joseph?

Wouldn't read anything into the situation if Darren did not want to go on as President next year. He is a busy man and there are only so many hours in the day to share between work, football and family.

If Darren did not want to go on, there would be a number of people willing and able to fill his shoes (no pun intended), Ron being one of them. Ron is a Reynella man through and through and I would bet my hairy left nut that he won't be at the Shoe next year or any time soon.

I'll bet the other hairy nut that Early will be back coaching our A grade next year.

I presume you are talking about Murdock when you talk of the underage coach? If so, I wouldn't be surprised if he took an opportunity to coach a senior team in his own right next year. This is no refelection upon Reynella but merely a guy wanting to further himself as a coach.
