HTF would you know what is going on at Oval Road, Joseph?

Wouldn't read anything into the situation if Darren did not want to go on as President next year. He is a busy man and there are only so many hours in the day to share between work, football and family.

If Darren did not want to go on, there would be a number of people willing and able to fill his shoes (no pun intended), Ron being one of them. Ron is a Reynella man through and through and I would bet my hairy left nut that he won't be at the Shoe next year or any time soon.I'll bet the other hairy nut that Early will be back coaching our A grade next year.

I presume you are talking about Murdock when you talk of the underage coach? If so, I wouldn't be surprised if he took an opportunity to coach a senior team in his own right next year. This is no refelection upon Reynella but merely a guy wanting to further himself as a coach.

At least you will still have a hairy right nut! ;)

They tell me you can still do plenty of damage with one nut, SB. Just ask Lance Armstrong!!!!

Didn't Hitler have just the one also?

Bullsh1t.

Interesting to hear from you, Fly. You've been very quiet on all things Reynella related since being moved on from Edwardstown and taking up the job at Onkaparinga. How are your boys travelling this year?

To be honest, Fly, I couldn't care less who you are. I just find it amusing how you maintain that you are not who we know you are.

Perhaps you forget about the private messages you sent out to different people on this forum while coaching at Edwardstown.

It is also funny to see your occasional jibes pop up on the Hills forum - never about Onkas.

good point shoeboy, just suprised you took that long to take the bait..The difference is we learnt from our mistake over the last couple of years, now the players play for the club and each other. Just on that when the opposition coaches abuse Elijah, can they make sure they look at the number not the colour. Our U18 that has come in in the last couple of weeks has copped abuse left, right and centre. He says he wishes he was on $800 a game like the opposition keep telling him...and that he had a few premiership metals to his name from SANFL????

Exactly

My point was more that an identity had clearly been exposed. On the hills site a posting was removed very quickly the other day for that very reason by the moderators.

I hear there are 5 or 6 Hills League clubs who have or are about to make enquiries with the SFL in a possible move to the competition in 2011. Does anyone know who these clubs might be? This is as a result of meeting held last night at the HFL.
Looks like 2 divisions in the SFL could come sooner that expected.

I don't know but I can't imagine a Hills Central (Div 1) team wanting to leave their competition, only the one that will be relegated at the end of the season, which is most likely Lobethal or Birdwood. Lobethal apparently are considering going to the Barossa Light League, why would either of those two want to travel south anyway.Torrens Valley are to be promoted from Country league. Country (Div 2) Hills is a bit lopsided like the SFL so maybe the teams could be the top ones from there, time will tell I guess.

I think probably just empty threats from top sides in HFL central div about leaving to go SFL to get their way regarding the relegation process?
Who would we really take?
And how many?
1 more team would make two 8 team comps?
Then we will end up with the same delegation issues they are having!
The SAAFL seems to work with teams traveling quite far...
We should combine SFL and both HFLs and have four divs!!

The relagation system does not effect the top sides. There is only one club close in distance to the SFL and that is Blackwood, whose name is thrown around every year as coming to the SFL I believe if it was ever going to happen it would have happened by now. Ironbank is not far away in distance but I doubt they would want to change although the HFL President dislikes them with a passion.
