Flaggies V H/Valley ---- will find themselves in the fight of their lives, but will survive it
Reynella v C/Beach ---- wouldn't matter where it was
Aldinga V M/Park ----- too good for Sharks
Towns V Marion ---- very big margin, could crack thirty
Brighton V Noarlunga ----- still have that hunch they'll win every game this year
Lonsdale V Cove ---- Lions right out of their depth
Hackham V Pt Noarlunga ---- likewise

while your all working out who should be playing in which DIV. 1 or 2. dont forget MACKY/EMUS wear same jumpers. May one day be in same DIV. MARION/MEADOWS same colours. TOWNS/KANGY same colours. Who gives up thier heritage first, whos club is the more important ours or thiers. something to think about i think.

Div 2

Morphettville Park

I wouldn't expect the three HFL teams to go to div 1, would need to work up.
Then it should be A grade top 2 go up in Div 2, bottom 2 come down.
Two 9 team comps, finals structured like SANFL.

Brighton, Aldinga and Happy Valley all have Black and Yellow
Shoes and Townies both navy (Townies have gone the sturt blue now)
Christies and Morphies clash
Flaggies could clash Morphies, Shoes, Townies and Cove

Heaps of clashing already

Umpire appointments for Saturday have been promulgated and it's pleaseing to note that "club" umpires are required for only 2 of the 32 games to be played. The 2 are Town / Rams B Grade and U 14 Reynella / CB. This is a huge improvement on past weeks. Assume all the old farts are over their injuries (or maybe its because sunshine is forecast????????)

Ever heard of alternative strips ?
Also, all three of those sides have played in SFL before, and colours worked out OK.

All bodes well for the Southern League :D Hopefully it regains the high standard of competition that it possessed in the late 90's / early 00's.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

I was actually pointing out these clubs have same colours and or jumpers, not that flaggies have a dark blue or that porties and cove have a different colour blue these are not close to the same colours these are the actual same colour or jumper. isn't there a whole string of blogs and comments about a club having jumper issues this season, from what I can understand from reading posts people want this club find or something. I may barrack for black white and or teal in other leagues but not in this one. it will be an issue one day.

I wouldn't be so sure 'Off the Wall'. That sooky club may get their way and then you'll find a few clubs going elsewhere. Its a pity the HFL can't make a firm decision and tell one club they will be relegated. As a result they may lose some well run quality clubs to keep a badly run club happy.

Afterthesiren, as a SFL follower I have little or no knowledge of the HFL therefore can you confirm that it is Ironbank you refer to.

Certainly not Ironbank, it would be either Lobethal or Birdwood relegated, so he would be refering to one of those two.

Spot On I think you will find it is other teams than Birdwood or Lobethal as they are the reason other clubs may look at the change due to the 11 team saga

I thought the question was who is the sooky team not wanting to be relegated, and that is one of those two I mentioned.

Yeah it is not right that a couple of teams can dictate a league that is for sure. Will be interesting to see what happens in the HFL that is for sure. No doubt the SFL would be hoping that it goes the way which will favor them

No, Mawson Bears mainly yellow. Meadows mainly green. Same socks though. Mawson did use to have the vertical stripes at some stage though, don't know if they played Meadows back then.
