Here's the equation people ---

To get Noarlunga's spot-
If Shoes defeats are an average of 20 points, Flagstaff must average wins of 200 points.
Requirement gets easier if Shoes beaten by more.

To get Edwardstown or Port spot--
(Flaggies already ahead on percentage)
If Towns lose to Christies they are gone
If Port lose to Aldinga they are gone (don't reckon that's going to happen)

Towns are clearly their best hope. Interestingly, the Saints only lost to them by five points on Anzac weekend

The way I see the final 8 is that Noarlunga play Porties,Flaggies,Reynella and Cove 2 times and Flaggies play Noarlunga,Porties,Hackham and Aldinga twice,so if Flaggies dont make it they certainly dont deserve to be there.

Absolutely agree. We've had chances that we haven't taken so all responsibilty on our own door step and no one is disputing that fact. Still if the weather is kind two 200 point victories is not absurd!!!!!

I think you play Valleys twice not cove. Just a little easier for you.

That would be nice and am sure the lads will come to play.

Also big Matty on 98 would be great to see him get the 100 and make him only the second behind Nunny to do so :)

With respect to Golding as a hundred is a hundred.., but I would suggest Nunny's hundred might have come against better overall opposition back then..
How close did Wayne Carlin get early 90s SB ??

[quote="Panther32"]I thought it ws actually something to do with the drainage to be honest, so maybe The Hound can elaborate on how he got his information, do you work for the council?

Nah P32 i don't work for the council, but it is amazing what you hear when you are sniffing around looking for the right place to cock your leg.

Just wondering if they have dumped any sand on the oval yet to assist in getting the ground playable for the big clash this Sunday?

Shoe boy you guys have only beaten porties and us in the top 9 and we have beaten you and porties. If anything our loss to the twisties and porties first time around have kept you in the race for finals and even maybe handed them to you. Credit to you guys tho also you beat us when both seasons on the line. Not to mention we have actually lost I think 6 games within 2 goals and 3 losses of 10 goals being the highest against Brighton reynella and valley. If we were to make it I think it's a bit rough to say we don't deserve to be there. Difference is you guys recruited a 100+ goal forward so you have been able to put away the lesser teams a little better than we have. The challenge has been set tho you guys can win or anything less than a 200 point win next 2 weeks is a loss for us.

As soon as you put a 'But' at the end of a sentence you have basically disregarded what you said previously, so i think your right in saying a 100 is a 100 regardless of time played. Following your point though, whilst Nunny might of been playing better overall opposition, i reckon he would have had better delivery from his teammates back then & probably more frequent as compared to Goldy now...horse's for course's :)

Bombers also have one in the Eighteens currently in the mid-Nineties ---- another "J.Mac"
James McIntosh could be about to beat big Matt to the mark by a couple of hours (he's on 95)

Nah P32 i don't work for the council, but it is amazing what you hear when you are sniffing around looking for the right place to cock your leg.

Just wondering if they have dumped any sand on the oval yet to assist in getting the ground playable for the big clash this Sunday?

Forecast. Sat, showers, windy, 16. Sunday, showers, 13.
The main concern would not be about the playing surface, after all it is footy played in winter. Its going to be a packed house. How many cars do they plan on letting in, because im sure as hell if anyone tries to park on the eastern hill they will end up in the fence at the bottom of the hill. Tow truck drivers could make a lot of money on sunday arvo if they stay close to reynella.
