Some great footy played on the weekend with the cream rising to the top most games played in the right spirit =D> but watching the game at christies no.7 for porties what a disgrace you used to be a MAN now you are a down right street HOOD [-x

He has a bit of a habit of it come finals time too. Reynella people would remember the hit he gave Shane Russell in the goalsquare late in the game during a semi few years ago. Seen his acts mid season, but there is something about him once the season is done & dusted. The guy is a good footballer, but is about 20 years beyond his own time with his thuggery. I hope he is a good bloke off the field because I have no respect for him as a bloke on the field ... which reflects directly on his club.

and about that DH JH you should get rid of him thats why so many kids left this year.
If he goes my son will come back with many players that left.

You may have helped Justin in the 18's, but to slam Jolly and Murdock is joke, promotion of juniors has always been at RFC, But when promoting juniors to any grade above they must be shown the correct way to conduct themselves on and off the field. Not what a certain coach that you helped did ( giving these kids Alcohol) this was his demise,   and are you (Couch) still angry with the loss last week in which juniors were promoted into the 18's  ;) ;)

To PATROL

Before i go to work,I admit i was wrong to slam murdock but it was jolly who would not help us in 2008
so why in 2008 did the RFC not help the 18/s with the 16/s

His demise was that he spoke out about not getting help from the u/16s,the club backed the person that had been there the longest and not the right decision.Could You name just one club where there is not one u/18 having a beer or two

the forum is not to reveal but conseal isnt steve

no i am not a hipocrit like jolly i promote all the time when needed

And also I learned from someone yesterday that that DH JH is tending put up his hand to coach there next year if this turns out to be true you will lose more kids and we wont be back

Keep your fingers crossed tight ZC, because I'm starting to think that's the only way you'll get past them in 2010.

They have looked the goods going into GF's in the past also BTP but never seem to get the job done on that big day.... and last time I checked we havent had that big day yet. Surely they wouldnt be too confident if they met the emus in that last day in sept. again ;)

They are overdue tho thats for sure.....maybe a little too overdue.... pressure is a funny thing...

Lads, to be honest, Reynella could not have been classified as favourites in any of their GF's over the last decade or so.

If MV were not as dominant as they have been over the last few years, it is fair to say that we would have had two or three flags under our belt by now.

I reckon Reynella, MV and Brighton are all on level pegging for this year's flag. The rest are a bit off the mark but that doesn't mean that there can not be a surprise in next week's prelim. Whatever happens, it will be a hell of a GF this year. Probably the best game of footy all year at South Adelaide

   2 or 3 Flags, your kidding yourself RFC 2010!
sounds easy when you type it out on your key board but lets remember it doesnt happen that way. From recent memory your A Grade have choked in finals and that would be playing on all your players minds.. Dont say its not because i know for a fact it is.....

i'll say it now... you wont see a better game played in this years finals series than the game between EMUS/FLIES last saturday. Especially at bloody SOUTH ADELAIDE

I can see what your your saying RFC but totally agree with the red 1 here.
Its easy to say we "would" have x amount of flags but thats what makes them so great. no matter how many ifs and buts you put in there, only 1 team wins it every year. and every other team is forgotten.

The fact i think we are trying to make is that MVFC have been dominant in the past. especially over RFC in big finals games.
and we are just asking the question "have the wounds healed yet???" that monkey on the back is pretty large and all it would take is to get a bad start in the big 1 and the players mite just be saying "here we go again".

I will agree with 1 thing tho RFC I reckon it should be an absolute cracker in a couple of weeks whoever gets there.
What happens in the result of a draw on GF day. ( Is it too early to make such a call??)

yeah with all this physcological talk, you would think MV had won this week, and the next and the next! ;)

nah, honestly you guys make some valid points, which im sure the RFC are aware of. As i said this year will be won above the shoulders, they need to believe. plenty of games left though.
no doubt RFC have been the second best for too long.

Keep gunning for Junior success you loser, if you're good enough you play as high as you can. What a joke you are.

So is the 18s a waste of a players time then should the sfl have the same groupings as the great southern 13,15,17 and if so what is the cut off date for a lad to play in the 17,1/2s

GSFL ages are unders 11, 13, 14&half anf 17&half all played on Saturday. Some lads in the senior colts are 18 due to the cut off date but don't ask me what that is. Is a great comp and a high standard of footy although some of the kids coming up from the junior colts can struggle due to age difference, height etc. Having said this it does show the potential of the young up and coming ones and most easliy transition into senior footy..
