Watch MVale v Christies yesterday and tuned into tribe fm and for most of the game and comments made prior to the game thought I must be at a different game ! I guess when you realise the sheriff , captain, general, are all board members they as norm are not going to be reflective of reality .

Cove A grade came to play with a lot of spirit yesterday and played like what is expected of the group, it was great to watch!!
Flaggies probably not paying us enough respect and just expected to get it done coming off Sun last week.
Flaggies Certainly didn't like the tough inside footy on the small oval.

This year is maybe going to be a bit tighter than expected. Shoes will tell us where were at this week!
Surprised at the M/Vale Christies result

It's strange to not have the scores updated even by Sunday morning. You may be on to something there shoe boy.

Mind you, who'd want to share that result with the public.....

Funniest thing I heard on weekend was Vikings committee member bragging about being top of the ladder =))

Yeah we've had a couple of good wins but when we came up against a quality opposition we didnt get the points

If we are still on top in a month I'll get excited but reckon we need to let team settle first with couple changes to the side this year

I think that would have been said with the tongue firmly in cheek. Those I have spoken with are well aware of where Valley are at as a club. On the improve, but will also have many inconsistent performances with such a young side. Pretty happy to just be a more competitive outfit at this stage and enjoying seeing so many young kids improving week by week. Good signs, but a long, long way to go.

Normally I would agree with you AFC however their latest facebook post mentions A grade are top of the ladder.
Not sure BC would be happy with this. He would have fully expected to be sitting with a minimum of 2 good wins at this stage.

They are though, stating facts isn't usually a bad thing. Nothing like some positivity
I think you are looking to much into this though.
