Happy Valley Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Guy Ridgway as Club Coach.
The Club implemented a thorough process in a very tight time frame to recruit the best person for this role and Guy brings a wealth of coaching knowledge and experience gained over a number of years of coaching in the SANFL and at grass roots level.
We are confident that under his tutelage, Guy will strengthen our Football Program and the Club will continue to progress and excel, both on and off the field.
Please join me in welcoming Guy to Happy Valley.

On the topic of female Presidents - Sue Lerway was President or Morphettville Park for a few years in the 2000's.
Can't think of any others although that Christies Beach President can be a bit of an old woman at times!!!

Guy was also a quality A grader at Broadview, an assistant reserves coach at Sturt and is a focused individual. He’s a good get by the Valleys and works well with all members, players and committees. Quality appointment and well done by the Vikings.

Encourages focus on skills and fun without the pressure of scoring - which has been proven to be detrimental to their emotional development.

Will need to bring some players with him if they want to climb the ladder in the near future. Hearing there are a few Vikings on the move including some senior players.
