Between them they won all B-grade Flags between 1973 and 1987. Morphett at one stage seven in a row.
Dominanation slackened a little through the Nineties with 5 out of 10, but it appears to be back with a vengeance now with the last 6. Could become 7 in a row unless the Bombers can stop it.

This is an unbelieveable stat.

I agree- a GRAEt stat!

Should be 4 back who played in A grade on Sunday. 3 who played B grade Prelim can't play because not qualified so balances out.

Reynella are favourites for this one based on their late season form. The big ground should suit Brighton though. We've never won a B grade flag in SFL nor since the merge in 1991. In fact the last B grade flags were 1977 for the Brighton Old Scholars and I think 1986 for Brighton.

Well DTH, i think your boys will give it a shake.Good leg speed and they look like they play for each other but Wineys will be hard to beat.
If the only reason you play is for a beer with your mates after the game, your playing for the wrong reasons !!

Yes I agree. Brighton's B-Grade Flag was a top effort, and bagging three was exceptional.
However can't agree they were the club of the day. Cove were, for they got the only one that matters.

Hey, BTP just read this one.. bit late I know.. the club of the day is a bit of a funny one I agree. 02 BDOS won all flags except C grade and Valley's got club of the year.. go figure.

Must have something to do with estimated crowd figure or somthing like that.

Have the Emus or any other clubs filled their B grade coaching roles yet?

Dingy appointed Greg Robins who will be very handy and bring a lot to a young club, pretty much the perfect compliment to Brad I would say.

Hackham have aquired the services of James Garden for the 2009 season. He took over the A Grade when the Kelly's left and did a real good job and has respect of everyone involved with the club.

what are you talking about finding 21 players. we had 21 all year last year and by round 12 we had to not select players as we had to many. and it is a positive that we have a coach. someone that has been involved with the club for over 2 decades and is true to the club.
