if John Smith keeps performing he may well be on that list to as his Gran apparently is a great volunteer of any club he is at.

WELL DONE on losing by 14 goals and kicking a whopping 8 for the game...
I know Cove have struggled previously... BUT they never accepted losses like that.... the way a lot of the supporters of SFL clubs that are struggling do..... I feel for Lonsdale's position i would love to see a strong SFL competition, but while ppl just except that there no good, or use injuries etc as an excuse...will they ever improve...
Anyway, I am a fan of Lonsdale and all clubs that have come up with us from Div 2, i just feel ppl need to get a bit harder on there club and demand improvement.
Just on Lonsdale is there any talk about what will happen next yr with the school being sold.

Mate i don't think anyone from within the club are truly happy with the way the seasons panned out so for you to say that is just bull$hit. The club knows the position they're in and without more commitment from alot of players and members they will find it very difficult to compete with anyone in the SFL (except maybe Hackham), but changing the mindset and attitudes of individuals is a hard job, maybe too hard for a senior coach in a local league.

But one thing i can guarantee is without this change in attitude, Lonsdale will remain at the back of the pack till it's dying days.

Depends how far I am in the kennel but as long as you introduce me to the very informative cape crusaders of Mex and ZC I'll have a beer.

Are your okay Mex you have been quite ever since the news of the Prez and coach finishing up at season ends. Don't tell me you have driven up the freeway to support MVFC development squad Jervoi$.

Still here "Dog Boy" and all is well... Been quiet hmmm, since the breaking news, i posted what i know for all to read, since then we have played Hackham, still working on my rivetting match report that everyone on here can't wait to read...

Whats happening with this Dave Evans thing Mex? My intel tells me the players at Reynella aren't responding to Evans as a coach and lack respect both on and off the field for Evans and the club. This has been a culture breeding at Reynella for a very long time and has become an infectious disease. Whats Morphett Vale's take on all this?

Dave Evans/Emu's... Nothing mate, just some good/average forum banter... On a serious note i was talking to a former Reynella official who was at the Noarlunga game, his take was that players seemed not to be paying attention to the coaches instructions and 1/4 time breaks and were talking amongst themselves, seems to be quite a bit of on field stuff going on during matches also...

What about Dave Earl for the Morphie job ? Is he in the mix, and more importantly, is he interested ?
Certainly has the credentials.

My mail is that once the ball is bounced a high profile recruit takes over and instructs/directs the players on the field.

If David Earl wants the job he will get it.If he declines i believe the likes of x-emus Clay Sampson,Jason Torney or Rod Jameson will be rite in the mix.
Im sure he has been a good coach and probably still is but Dave Evans absolutely no chance, sorry to dissapoint everyone.

Must be a good job at Morphies, Clay Sampson to consider leaving South. I suppose there would be more stability at Morphies and no doubt a better committee or board.
