Thought you'd bob up again soon Rock head with another spoonfull of negative bulldust toward our coach and club and clearly as usual you have not a clue what you are on about.

No clue hey, pull your head out of the clouds flea... I mean fly. I'm not that far out of the loop as I still drink with some of the boys from RFC. I have also heard some of the lads are quitting or have decided to just play B grade for the rest of the year. Sounds like motivation levels are rather low out there. I'm happy to sit back and say nothing but you never state the facts.
rock and big red why dont you both just go out for dinner one night together and tell each other your little stories over a bottle of wine instead of putting false info on here!!there is plenty of respect for the coach a few things around the club needed to be adressed and have,as a playing group we play the game its up to us to get the outcome the club needs!!

I think it would be good if Morphettvale and Reynella merged.... They could be called the Emuflies and could really have a crack at taking over the country! I am sure that Premier Rann would step aside and let the figurehead of the Emuflies rule SA (with a view to one day taking over Krudd's job)

Get real people.... This forum is really scraping the barrell for banter at the moment! We shall see who has the last laugh regarding the future of the struggling sides..... I cannot wait for the day we can say "we told you so"..... And believe me people, the day will come!

Ps... You would think with the mass amount of coin being thrown around Morphy Park, that they would know how to kick straight?!?!?! Or do you pay players on thuggery and not skill these days?? :-s

Perhaps Hackham and Mclaren Vale could merge as it sounds both clubs are having trouble keeping their spectators from attacking opposition players.....

Ive always felt that if spectators are going to take it upon themselves to enter the playing area, then it should be done in the proper manor - by scantily clad buxom streakers (female preferbley). Its still the most traditional, classy, and respected way to get ones view point across about the proceedings of the game IMHO.

Was there a problem with the game on saturday hawk? Only saw one small scuffle all day. Morphies didn't look that good, they seemed to turn over the ball a fair bit, Had plenty of chances to kick a big score but missed some very easy goals. 30 odd points and i say there was probably another 10 shots that went out of bounds on the full. At one stage i think the roos kicked 3 points in a minute, the Hawks full back kept kicking out, went straight to a roos player and they would kick another point, was very windy all day but i expected the Roos to play better than they did. Give credit to hackham, they didn't give up all day and i think kicked about 3 goals into the breeze in the last quater,.
Also Hawk What do you call a mass amount of coin? I wouldn't say they are spending to much, would be more than the last few years which wouldn't be to hard, but still a fair way off of the salary cap.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm still surprised that MClaren Vale would have gotten mud on their knees let alone get in a punch up.

When ever we use to play them they were too worried about what was going into next years vintage let alone what was happening on the footy field. Bar a few of course, maybe they have finally started losing the plot as all of the rich folk in the area are not use to getting beaten every week. Thought they would be by now, bring them back to Southern that would be a reality check for them.

It was way back, approx 99 or 00 the Bombers were playing at hackham and Draper was sledging a fair bit, I reckon he ruffed up a younger hawk in the pocket and the hawk's mum jumped the fence swinging the bag and threatning to send him back down the hill.. Draper just stood there and deflected a few, laughed and got on with the game. Would be interesting to hear his side of the argument.

If it was in the last few years with all the camera phones it would have made Almost football legends for sure.

Postby Swooper16 » Tue Jul 15, 2008 5:05 pm

Couple of interesting games this week:

Emus get a chance to take a look at this new flavoured twisties outfit for the first time in 2008. Glenelg unfortunately dont have the bye but as our good friend Morphies Magic will tell you its school holidays that affect the twisties performance not bays players. I for 1 am still a little skeptical that their new recuits are all 12 years old and would rather spend their time off from studies at timezone or Mt Thebarton rather then playing A grade footy but there you go.

Reynella host Porties. As per the previous few years Porties are starting to get their act together at the right time of the year and always give a good account of themselves in the big games. If you listen to the doomsayers (Rock, BRD) Reynella players would rather play B grade and the senior players do as they like. If you listen to the reynella people (Fly, AFL spy, EFC) Evans has got them on track and things are going to plan. Either way i reckon this weeks result will give us our greatest indication yet whether the winies are serious contenders in 2008.

Vikings are hosting Aldinga on the saturday night. Sounds (slightly) interesting but i think to maximise the crowd surely it should have been played in the months that are more inclined to warmer weather. The big question will be whether Mckenzie goes to Bosshog who (according to him) can tear a game apart in rain or shine, day or night. In fact just doing some research and it appears Biglands has kicked a staggering 0 goals so far this season. Should be a beauty of a matchup.

Swooper, whilst you may not have stayed in school past the age of 12, other do elect to undertake tertiary education, and believe it or not, some of the new boys out at morphy's are doing that, and return home to the country during holidays.

So they are the type that's committed to seeing Morphie Parks rise to the top obviously! Fair enough they might not train but, some country footballers travel hundreds of k's to play, whats stopping them coming back on the weekend?

Could some of these so called tertiary educated players have a look at redesigning your ground to an oval shape?

No problem with the game on Saturday.... Problem with the MP B grade, but I guess that is why they are B grade..... As for MP not spending a mass amount of coin  I have been told the amount by more than one person, and let's just say, it is a mass amount!

And for those that had a go at me for my remark about MV and Reynella merging..... Get over it! It is fine for everyone to jump on here and suggest Hackham and Lonsdale merge, but one small suggestion that a couple of power clubs merge and you tear me a new ar$hole :o Surely you big boys can handle a little bit of a $hit-stir?!?!?! Or is winning 80-90% of your matches making you a bit soft?? We cop a fair bit down at Hackham, but we are anything but soft! And we are anything but merging! 8)
