Thought you'd bob up again soon Rock head with another spoonfull of negative bulldust toward our coach and club and clearly as usual you have not a clue what you are on about.

No clue hey, pull your head out of the clouds flea... I mean fly. I'm not that far out of the loop as I still drink with some of the boys from RFC. I have also heard some of the lads are quitting or have decided to just play B grade for the rest of the year. Sounds like motivation levels are rather low out there. I'm happy to sit back and say nothing but you never state the facts.
rock and big red why dont you both just go out for dinner one night together and tell each other your little stories over a bottle of wine instead of putting false info on here!!there is plenty of respect for the coach a few things around the club needed to be adressed and have,as a playing group we play the game its up to us to get the outcome the club needs!!

Have you heard of the words 'Excited Delirium' catfish? Look it up champ - it's where Reynella's at.

Correct Warrior Hawk, there were a couple of scuffles in B Grade, but thats footy mate, build a bridge and get over it !!!

As for the ground at Morphy's, yeah it might be a odd shape Reader, but surface wise it would be one of the best in the league, dosn't turn into a bog hole like most ovals.

You're joking aren't you? Not unless it's changed from last year having not played on it this year. It was so uneven through the centre of the ground, or is it the side? I'm confused with the odd shape what ways what.

The Pockets were nice I'll give you that, and a mean steak burger, but certainly not one of the best in the league surface wise. Nice try RM.

Your spot on Shoe boy. The shoes oval would have to go close to being the best suburban ground in SA!

Whats going on with Butcher @ Reynella? Think it was posted on here that he could be gone for the season. Can anyone confirm whether that is fact or fiction?

Spot on lads, Noarlunga's oval easily the best in the SFL. Only oval ive played on that was better was playing high school footy against Sacred Heart and playing on their oval. Plush!

Come on people this thread needs an outlandish statement or 2 to get people posting - i called for 2 clubs to merge last week with set people off, anyone got anything they want to get off their chest???

Noarlunga Oval is a good surface but whats with the strange shaped pocket down the north end and it has terrible lighting (i know it doesnt affect game day).

I always liked Brighton Oval as a kid, not sure of its condition now.

As far as ovals go Porties is pretty good. Good surface, size and great to watch at. Aside from the size Cove's surface is pretty good at present. Worst this year would be Morphies and not forgetting where you have to kick uphill and run a half marathon from the changerooms, Lonsdale what a shocker.

I find Porties oval is always ruined by a hurricane breeze tho. I like playing at Cove also even tho the oval is more of a square shape. YEah Lonsdale's oval is rough, Hackham's oval is pretty great, hey perhaps those two teams should..... oh never mind

BJ keep your negative right wing and often spiteful comments to the GSFL thread please - Noarlunga has an ace oval!

Porties good to watch? stand in the elements with no cover??? But I do agree the best oval for holding Grand finals {bring the grandy back to the port} as for Cove it is a disgrace to hold senior football their more like a mini's oval(good cricket oval) you would love to be a full forward one kick out the middle and it is down your throat.. again very little cover for the spectators. ONLY MY OPINION DONT GET PRECIOUS!!!!! :o

Obviously size does hurt it, but, Cove oval in terms of the atmosphere and the surface is excellent....
Not a great fan of Noarlunga, however i have never played on it so commenting from a distance,
I think Aldinga has a good oval to, Flagstaff and Brighton ovals this time of year...No thanks....
Looking forward to the Shoes and the Cobras this week.... Cove's first test for about 6 - 7 weeks and after this they finish with Flaggies, Porties, Brighton, Reynella, Morphett Vale. Will be interesting to see how they stand up leadng into the finals.

The Mexican's in depth Oval rating system -
1. Noarlunga - Can't go past it for everything, surface, atmosphere conditions, BBQ, great place to play footy
2. Aldinga - Fantastic surface
3. Marion - Great surface, even better "facilities"
4. Port Noarlunga - Great size/surface and has a couple FREE entry points also for you to choose from, either the top of the road or the Onka.
5. Hackham - Pity about the club.
6. Brighton - Surrounds are great although that cricket pitch is bullsh!t, bit of rain then sun makes for a concrete centre square
7. Christies - Only the wind contributes to this oval not being higher on this list
8. Happy Valley - Can get a bit boggy in the wetter months
9. Reynella - Suffers the same as the Valley when the weather is bad, good FREE entry point off Panalatinga road too.
10. Cove - Size hurts it
11. Morphy Parks - Shape hurts it, anyone else had a shot on goal rejected by that ba$tard of a tree down the Western end..??
12. Flagstaff Hill - Formely the Pig Pen, wasn't this a dump site at some stage..??
13. Morphett Vale - I've seen Cheese Twisties with a smoother surface, hey atleast we don't have the lake on the outer wing anymore.
14. Lonsdale - Worst place in this WORLD to play footy...

Cop that boys... Ole...

Jono Coves first test for 6-7 weeks???? do you rate the Shoe, remember we are sitting about 10 on the ladder playing the top of the table side. We will have a red hot go and I too look forward to seeing how good the Cove are.(not looking forward to going to the oval, hope we can find some cover from the wind and rain) maybe under a tree!!!!

CT If Noarlungas as good as it gets you dont play on many great ovals! Yes i agree its good, but the shape is strange at the Northern end with one pocket being deep and the other being quite short. (Saying anything but super positive comments about the shoe will backfire on me tonight at training! :) )
