My appologies to cyclops re the incident between marion and m/vale u/16 fight. I didnt intentinally mislead in my post. Have rechecked my sources and found to be untrue. New source says it was actually a knee to the stomach. Once again sorry for the misinformation , hope this clears things up.

Re: u16 marion M/v

As I was standing directly in front of the incident what I saw was the M/v player trying to gain possession of the football as it went over the boundary line.
While on his knees a Marion player (not the one who did the swinging) threw a punch at the M/v player who had his head down over the ball.
The M/v player got up to have a go at him (as we all would with a cheap shot like that).
A second M/v player came in and dragged the Marion player about 15 meters away and they had a bit of push and shove.
Meanwhile a lot of pushing and shoving was happening with kids grabbing jumpers ect when the Marion bloke decided to start swinging.
Don’t get me wrong as it sounds like Marion were a bunch of thugs and M/v did nothing wrong, neither were perfect little angels on the day.

This is a boring story. Lets make it interesting.

The Marion guy copped abuse from the guy in the gsfl forum that is 7ft and yelled racial abuse to the encounter bay guys. He was on a day trip and went to this footy game and the Morphett Vale player thought it was directed at him from the marion guy so kneed the marion guy who then retaliated and kicked the MV players ass.

Much better.

Be careful Spy, you must be on some carry over points from the last suspension. You Reynella boys are a bit sensitive, then again you cop more than your share. Collingwood guernsies and a 31 year drought just makes you an easy target.

Mex, I assume you're referring to the disgraceful Simper affair. I wasn't on the forum back then but read alot of it. Some got the facts right but many got them wrong. It was one of the worst acts of desperation ever and completely unfounded. At Brighton, we're lovers not fighters, so its water under the bridge now.

All oysters and chardonnay down the hill if I'm not mistaken?

Should be a good matchup this weekend in all grades though, any recommendation where I can get a good Orange Mocha Frappacino DTH?

If your ladies have nothing on tonight get down to the SHOE, they will be guaranteed a great night with 6 lovely lads and two special acts. The captain of the club Benny Nyland and Pinky doing a double act. Only $25 and a great time to be had. I hope we dont get crashed by the law like last w/end when 600 people turned up to a function for 150 :D

Thats right ZC, we'll be catering for all tastes tomorrow. The BBQ, Canteen and Beer Van are all along side each other in front of the stand which is more protected than the area the Bays use around into the Northern pocket. Just get all your faithful along with plenty of money in their pockets and lets hope its a great day. Normally we have free face painting for kids but because its the Emu's, we've gone for free tattoo's this year.
