He spoke to me about the coaching position there, but he isn't going for it as there is only one way they can really go after winning 4 flags in a row, I thought he was going to stay at dingy next year...

Oh ok I had heard similar things. What about that Hart that everyones talking about apparently he'd make an alright coach, why don't they sign him for next year? Or have they got others in mind already? Wouldn't surprise me Aldinga always seem to have a trick or two up their sleeve.

And cyclops I wouldn't let it worry you to much as swooper said it's a normal occurrence mate at all clubs.

Have Aldinga looked at possibly getting Stephen Keam back to the club? Former premiership player / coach i believe (div 2) and took reynella from bottom to a grand final within a few seasons so has expereince in this league in taking a club up the ladder.... From an outsiders point of view it would seem like a perfect match?

Ithink the Emus will be looking for a proven coach that has had success at least at A grade level.

I agree Galb's would be a good choice, but we have him locked into a long term contract coaching the kids, and Tracy likes the place to much to go anywhere! :)
Cyclops I actually hope morphetvale go ok in the finals and I'm sure they will, but from what I heard from a current player today there is a lot of unsatisfied players there I think this will have a negative effect on them this time of the year... knowing your coach is leaving perhaps the players aren't caring as much...
Would players with the opportunity to break a long standing record, that being 5 premierships in a row, be more concerned about the coach leaving or being part of history at the club..??

I'm wondering if your source may have his wires crossed, in that, he was discussing about the big name players returning next year..?? Long way to go a2m, we need a coach first, playing stocks will be fine.

They have never paid a player (fact) It was taken to the comittee to see if for the first time they should do it, the offer they wanted them to consider was $200 a game. They said we would like to have him but we are not changing what we have done from day 1 . Obviously he is playing at Reynella.

I doubt very much they would be offering this bloke $250 a game when they havent paid anyone else. Juniper was on Freo's list and is playing there for nothing

Intereesting, I wonder why they just didn't make him an assistant coach so they could pay him.

I reckon you might find Ando probably has the best coaching record against Morphet VAle... Since he has been in charge Cove have played them twice for 1 win and one loss and play them next week in the last minor round...Any other coach got a 50% win loss ratio against them!!!!! Might go to 2 wins and 1 loss against them in a fortnight...Doubt he would leave Cove for M Vale...Doubt M Vale would even try and poach him!!

Hey Shoe Boy. One of Morphy Parks better players no. 23 McAllister (won their last 2 B & F) won't play again this year due to hip and knee issues and I think some others may be struggling with injury. With game at Noarlunga, Shoes should win.

I wouldnt have thought that m/vale would have to go and poach any coach from another local club.Surely there would be sum1 out there that would love to continue developing this great club,id think there would be plenty of applications for the a grade position.
