Can't afford a Sunday Mail CT ? You're missing the pleasure of an hour on the bog on Sunday mornings analysing all the scores. My favourite part of the week, especially when the Bombers win. Happy Valley by 3 goals. 10-10 to 7-11 according to paper. Milo got 3 to be pipped by Pollard in the race to 100.

Also to coorect Jono, Cove led 10-7 to 8-7 halfway into 3rd quarter and Bombers then kicked last 9 goals of the match. Cove were without one of the Reavill's and our side is maybe 3 or 4 players from full strength, but I don't think any of the top teams are full strength at the moment. A loss doesn't hurt Cove, but Bombers showed just like this time last year that unless you can blow us away by 3 quarter time, watch out. Our B grade have also just beaten the undefeated Morphett Vale last week and did it fairly comfortably against Cove on Saturday.

Top 4 can't change boys. Week 1 of finals will be Cove vs Brighton at Noarlunga and Happy Valley vs Morphett Vale at Aldinga. Reynella will finish 5th and Porties 6th but with Morphy Park and Flaggies playing this week then Marion could still displace MP on percentage I think.

HV vs BB and Cove vs MV this week so very interesting how coaches and players approach these games and whether anything can be read into whatever the results are.

my tip for the mail medal mate would be Todd Alexander or Bradyn Bailey

Tatts do you mean Todd Johnstone?
he was best vs Cove on the weekend and would have got more votes.

Yeah mate Todd Johnston. He is a ripper mate and Bradyn Bailey just works his butt off. Both these players would be worthy winners of this award.

I dare say both Cove and M/Vale would be approaching this weeks clash as a final. I know that is a cliche but for once i think it rings true. Morphies will want to make a statement that they are STILL the 4 time reigning premiers. Cove with still a ? over their previous finals performances will not want to head into finals with 2 losses on the trot. Should be a cracker of a match and well worth parting with your hard earned $4 (except for the tight Cheese twisties who no doubt will be coming in from that house near the back of the goals)

reynella vs valleys, a game of 2 x halves. Reynella beaten easily in the first half, but controlled the posession and game in the 2nd half. They just couldnt put the goals on the board.

you'd have to say the top 5 this year have been the most even of the last decade. Anyone can win on their day. This makes a good competition in my book.

Yep woke up hungover on Sunday morning and couldnt quite come up with the required shapnel in my wallet to cover the "breakfast of champions" of a pie and a coke and thro in the Sunday Mail as well. Tough times for CT :(

But DTH since you spent the better part of Sunday morning in the toilet studying the results, perhaps you could tell me who kicked the goals in Brightons win then? A good result from your boys. Also please let me know who was wearing what in the Fashion pages, and let me know the gist of the Calvin and Hobbes sketch in the comics section.

Huge game this week between Emus and Cove, Swooper can you please drive this week (escalating petrol prices mean im a little short).

A like your humour CT. Good spread of goals for the Bombers. Parkin 3, Johnstone 3 and and I think Jake Dean 3, and the other 8 were singles. Boofa Hoare went goalless due to some average kicking for goals but still played a very serviceable game. Like most weeks, we're not relying on the same avenue to goal and have a good spread each week.

Cyclops you post a huge amount of crap on here. (Valleys by over 5 goals heard it was close to 10) It was under 3 goals. You just proved that you will listern to anything or make anything up and put it on here. My advice is check out the info you receive and then post

Mex or Swooper heard that Shorty copped a pretty unlucky knock to the head and could even have a fractured skull? I know you have Bodey and he is more than capable as we all know. But sounds like Shorty is at least a month away if at all. Obviously not the best news for you guys as he is a massive part of your side, have you's heard of any updates on him?

Spoke to the big man today and looks likely he will miss this week but be back for the first week of finals. Not surprising really as he doesnt have alot of protection up there. Hopefully the boys can do a whip round thursday night. and pay for a few consultations at Ashley Martin. at worst we'll get him a rug and a helmet.

Happened to see the morphett v lions game on the weekend and with shorty out they will be relying heavily on bode as they had nothing special to back him up after shorty went off.
